is the world changing for better or worse?
The world is forever changing, but is it changing for the better? I believe that it is. Technological advancements such as the internet have enabled us to easily access information in a matter of seconds. Scientific advancements such as vaccines have also allowed us to cure the seemingly incurable. These examples have shown that the world is changing for the better.

When the internet was first introduced to the public, people were amazed by its capabilities. Even now, the internet is still constantly expanding and improving to make the world a better place. It could be used for research, studies, and even games. Its convenience and easy-access are also what makes it increasingly popular. Through my personal experience, I have also learned that the internet makes knowledge and learning not only easier but also more accessible. In the past, when I had a question about a topic that was mentioned at school, I would have to leaf through countless number of books just to find my answer, but now with the simple click of a mouse, I can find my answer on the internet. The internet has indisputably made the world a better place by making life more convenient.

Scientific advancements such as the polio vaccine have also contributed in making the world a better place. During the 19th century, polio was a common contagious illness that caused many to suffer. However, the polio vaccine was soon developed, and it enabled those who would have otherwise died from this deadly disease to live. By saving millions of lives, the polio vaccine has greatly changed the world for the better.

In conclusion, the world is constantly changing for the better and examples from technology and science have proven this true.

Change. From the first breath inhaled to the last, we change hundreds, thousands, of millions of times throughout the entirety. These changes may not always be so obvious, whereas others are blaringly distinct. Change is inevitable, especially as the environment, technology, economy, and people develop. Us, human beings, we are flexible, able to adapt and survive. The answer to the question at hand is some-what debatable among certain communities and also a bit perplexing to the general population. Undoubtedly we are, with the world’s population at 7 billion people we are apparently evolving because we are still reproducing and at an alarming rate. But something incredibly weird has happened to human evolution. Only 0.1% of the human genome exhibits variation, in other words we are 99.9% genetically identical. Compare any two humans, and they are vastly more similar genetically than, say, a Western and Central African Chimpanzee.…

We can certainly compare life to a technological invention, it changes almost every day. These changes can be beneficial or harmful, depending on the choices that we make in our everyday lives. The biggest change in my life happened at the age of thirteen, when my parents decided to move to the United States from India. I was pretty sad about my parents’ decision, because I didn’t want to leave my friends and teachers. However, I had no choice but to obey my parents. Right now, I am really proud of my parents’ decision, because it changed my life forever.…

I have also witnessed great change, much of it for the better, particularly in science and technology, and in social attitudes. The world is has never been the same. People living a century ago, can never imagine the world we are living in. Over the last one hundred years we have seen extraordinary changes in technology. We had been on the foul smelling four leg carts and now at the foul smelling gas consuming four wheels. We wished to be like birds flying here and there, now we are visiting planets and isolated areas. We dreamed to go “Around the world in Eighty Days” and now we communicate across the world in seconds. The culture of the people changes accordingly with the devolvement in science and technology. From the literature to living styles, every thing changes shape with the passage of time.…
