The minute air pollution was acknowledged as a problem, the human race was endangered. The environment around the world is having a significant decline in its efficiency to provide clean and suitable resources for the world’s population. Solar panels are becoming the best option for researchers to preserve the atmosphere. Solar panels do not emit greenhouse gases, which benefit the natural resources to prevail its efficiency. The fight against the environmental pollution is one of the big problems surrounding the world. People also had portable devices that would help them have accessible charging for every situation in their day by day routine. There are also rollable and flexible devices created that are powered by solar energy (“Solar Charger”). The environment is the aspect that was more affected. This development prevents pollution and greenhouse gases to be released into the atmosphere, causing the air not to be polluted nor harmful for the human society. Currently, this device is very cheap for every citizen to be able to afford renewable energy for the ecosystem. These devices can vary prices based on their size and efficiency. If they are bigger, they will be more expensive because they store more energy and provide clean energy to a bigger number of people. Companies that had loyal buyers started to question if they should continue buying these devices from that specific company because their efficiency of producing this device dropped and the buyer wasn’t pleased. The United States is a country that has been growing a lot more than other countries. The reason for that is because they have a diversified population, their culture is different. They achieve greatness because they work very hard. They have been concerned and advancing all of the aspects of the world and so they noticed that …show more content…
The reason for that is because the manufacturing of this equipment contains many hazardous materials that are potentially harmful for the environment (How Green are those Solar Panels, Really?) The production of this device releases harmful greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The environment was emitted with gases that harmed the ecosystems and the planet because of the polluted air. The human population was harmfully affected because they will get more and more lung diseases and pulmonary diseases. People do have the equipment to create manufacturing that will not harm the environment but the harmless method will be too expensive for the companies. From my point of view, the companies are being selfish because they care more about their business corporation making money than to save a human society from extinction. Chargers are used all over the world, each person has at least one of them, and so creating a sustainable development for charging would be one of the most beneficial creations for the environment. However, as said in the article (“Positive & Negative Effects of Solar Energy”) by (David Anderson), he objectively mentions that photovoltaic panels can release hazardous materials when “damaged or improperly disposed.” Also on Mr. Anderson’s article, he specifically says “While solar is among the world's cleanest forms of energy, plans to develop utility scale solar farms have raised

    The book mentions that air pollution from coal-fired power plants is estimated to cause more than 13,000 premature deaths each year. Coal pollution is implicated in causing thousands of heart and asthma attacks. Coal power generation is the leading source of carbon dioxide emissions. The other dirty side of this “power generation coin” is nuclear power. The process itself, when regulated and maintained correctly, is quite safe. Incidents like the 1986 Chernobyl plant meltdown and the incident mentioned in this book, the 2011 Fukushima Accident caused by the tsunami can have disastrous consequences. So what can be attributed to the closing of coal plants and the decline in construction of nuclear power plants? Well, the price of natural gas, which by the way is a cleaner form of power generation, has been linked to the decline in coal usage. Air pollution regulations are becoming stricter across the world. Needless to say, the initial costs of constructing a nuclear power plant are enormous and the strict regulations that govern the storage, operation and waste disposal of materials can be powerful deterrents. Not to mention that the Fukushima experience has caused widespread public opposition to nuclear power in Japan (Brown 2015), and in my opinion around the world as well. Renewable Energies The solar and wind revolution is upon us, along with tapping the wind, earth’s heat and using the power of water to create energy.     Electric car was around in 1960s. During the energy crisis in 1970s and 1980s electric cars started disappearing. In 1990s first electric car EV1 from a company named General Motors became popular in California simply because it was more environmental-friendly while it was affordable. A Zero-emissions vehicle mandate require companies to offer electric cars if they wanted to continue selling gasoline vehicles. The oil industries were fighting against the electric cars. Less people wanted to use it in that they wanted to pay less for electric cars which were limited. California dropped the mandate after getting sued by auto-makers. Drivers protested to try to save electric cars. There was almost no demand for GM’s electric cars. In a survey, 4000 said they would drive an electric car but at the end it narrowed down to only 50. GM started taking back EV1s from the drivers to be crushed and recycled. The last consumer EV1 was given up by its driver in 2004. Someone put her last effort to put EV1 back to the road; within 48 hours, 80 people signed up to get an EV1 while GM only had 72 cars. There were several suspects about the situation with GM. GM stated that there was no demand in the market for those electric cars, but several interviews with consumers showed that people wanted those electric cars. Another suspect was batteries. The batteries that EV1s had at the time were acid batteries with 60 miles of range. Average driving distance of Americans was less than 30 miles per day which meant EV1s would actually satisfy consumers.
