Is Atticus A Hero
Is Atticus a hero? Why or why not? At least for me this a tough question. Atticus had done many things that could make him hero. However, at the same time he has done some things that don’t make him a hero. He could be heroic if you think killing a mad dog and trying to save Tom Robinson’s life. He could also be the complete opposite if you think that he knew Tom Robinson was going to lose and didn’t seem to care. Tom Robinson was killed because he lost the trail from Atticus. It definitely wasn’t all of Atticus fault since Tom was black man living during a discrimination period. Everyone already knew Tom wasn’t going to win and never had a chance.     Atticus shows heroics because of his way of raising his children to be not so quick to judge therefore making him a leader of kind heart.     Atticus displays true bravery and courage in the book, To Kill a Mockingbird. Atticus did not fight Bob Ewell even though he spat on him, threatened his life, and said harsh things.
