Everybody has the right to life and this fundamental right even applies to unborn children who if had the choice who if had the choice would most likely choose to live which should be protected like everybody else’s. The federal Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which was Authorized "to protect unborn children from assault and murder," notes that under federal law, anybody intentionally killing or attempting to murder an embryo child should "be punished... for intentionally murdering or attempting to kill a human being." with that being said the U.S. government declares embryos as human beings therefore it should be illegal. With an abortion you never know who that child could turn out to be either, they could have made huge impacts to our society. Some adults who were considered to be aborted as children are Tim Tebow, Celine Dion and Justin

Genesis 2:7 says “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Proverbs 6:16-17 says that God hates those who shed innocent blood. Abortion is the act of shedding innocent blood. Deuteronomy 27:25 says, "Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen." Every year, 1.21 million children are aborted. These kids are not given the opportunity to experience a life that they could have had. The parents who want to abort their children could have prevented having a baby if they didn’t want to have them in the first place. The child who is being aborted should not have to pay for their parents’ mistakes by not having a life. There are people in this world who would love to have a child that don’t have one. If a parent doesn't want to keep their child they could put them up for adoption. At least the child could experience life and have the chance of being loved by others by being in an adoption home. Abortion should not be allowed in the United States because it’s not fair to couples who want to have a baby but can’t, people who abort have later life regrets, and it’s like killing someone. Abortion is very wrong and should be expunged.…

Abortion is the intended termination of a human pregnancy, many think that it is morally wrong in all cases, but can it be considered as morally permissible? Thou shall not kill, but what is really considered murder? Who draws the line on which murder should be permissible and which should not? You might want to get rid of bugs that may appear in your house and you squash them, which is not morally wrong but killing another human being with a cruel intent to harm them would be considered morally wrong?…

A child should not be punished for your irresponsibility. An abortion is not a condom, or the morning after pill; you are actually hurting someone. If you truly are not ready for the responsibility do not hurt a child put them up for adoption because then you can always explain to the child you were not prepared for the responsibility.Abortion has reduced the number of adopted babies. The number U.S. infant adoption dropped from about 90,000 in 1971 to 18,000 in 2007 (Koch). Another reason I believe abortion is wrong is because there are many risk women are going through with. This specific risk is medical. Medical risk such as: infections, incomplete surgery, heavy bleeding, and the women's age. With these risk these women are putting their self in danger. Considering their age if they get an abortion there's a chance where later in the future she is unable to have…

It’s never fair for someone to suffer from another’s lack of responsibility for their own actions. Many circumstances can apply to such a statement, and abortion is not limited to that. Abortion is murder, it violates the civil rights of an unborn child, not only that, it is a violation of God’s plan for others. Some babies die by chance, although none should ever die by choice.…

People have the liberty to choose how they should live their lives. In today’s modern era, people do things that are too extreme because they have the idea that they can do anything they wish for their own convenience without thinking the impact it might have on others. Furthermore, these actions become normal, and there will be fewer people that will care about it. For instance, people condemn mothers breastfeeding their child in public, but they are okay with attractive women showing their breasts in public. For some people, mothers breastfeeding their child in public seem wrong, but attractive women showing their breast seems right.…

I’m pretty sure that most people know someone that has had an abortion. One in every six women had an abortion and it has different effects on them. Many women that have abortions show signs of major psychological problem such as depression, bladder injuries that can lead to peritonitis an inflamed infected lining of the stomach, bowel injury or breast cancer. Women who have abortions have higher chances of getting breast cancer later in life and this has increased by 50%. Ectopic pregnancy, which is a pregnancy that occurs outside the uterus. After an abortion you are 8-20 times likely to have one of the effects on other pregnancies like bleeding in the first few months, and less likely to have a regular delivery. A woman who has had an abortion will be 3 times more likely to die in the first few months of giving birth to another…

One argument over whether or not abortion is morally wrong, lies within whether or not a mother is capable of taking care of the child. This argument specifically should be thrown out the window. One can make the selfless act and give the child a home in which they cannot provide, and a better life: adoption. When one adopts, they transfer all rights and responsibilities to the new parents. Couples who cannot reproduce properly…

If a fetus is a person, then terminating its life is wrong, but if one does not consider it a person, then it is only fair to say terminating its life is not wrong and therefore morally permissible. This is why, even if abortion is immoral, it should be legal. The fundamental argument of abortion, personhood, has come to be a matter of belief. Because not everyone agrees that the biological joining of a sperm and egg equal a life, the start of personhood/life becomes a belief instead of a fact. In the United States, if what President Jefferson said “We mandate no belief, nor will we ever” then abortion should be legal, because it relies on a personal choice constructed by a set of…

The word “positive” is both feared and revered by women around the globe. A simple plus sign on a pregnancy test can be cause for elation or terror. Nearly half of pregnancies among American women are unintended, and four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion (Finer and Henshaw 2001). Abortion, legalized in 1973 by the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, is defined by the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Law as the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus. Abortion is an inhumane, immoral way of avoiding parenthood. It is easy to understand how a woman with an unintended pregnancy may feel cornered, but an abortion should be on the list of alternatives never considered. Adoption provides a morally sound, healthy, means of dealing with an unwanted pregnancy while enabling a couple who, by their own means may not be able to conceive their own child, become a family.…
