Teen drivers are more likely to get into an accident than older more experienced drivers. Mostly due to the fact that they are not mature enough to drive a vehicle. Rising the driving age will cause fewer accidents involving teens because it will allow more time to mature. With fewer accidents it will the death rates will go down. Shouldn’t driving be one of the privileges ad responsibilities of adulthood? The driving age should be raised to 18 is because young teenagers have a tendency to be careless. as young adults come into grown adults they become more aware of their environment and what is right from wrong. Every Teen has a phone and they get calls or text they will take their eyes off the road and possibly kill someone. Most US states have already bought graduated driving licensesing ( or GDL). This means that new drivers have to go through two or more stages or restrictions before they earn a full license

Research indicates that when teens begin driving at a later age, they're less likely to get into crashes during their first years on the road. It would encourage them to do better on their homework, try harder in school, and not be irresponsible with their friends showing their parents that they are responsible and want their license. Teenagers tend to get into wrecks more often and tend to do more stupid things in cars than adults do.
