A number of highly complex processes continuously take place on a molecular level in our body through transportation. Iron is the mineral which helps in the circulation and composition of blood. Females require a consistent level of iron, even overconsumption can be useful for them. In each country of the world, women lack adequate iron consumption leading to anemia, pernicious anemia, and even blood loss. WHO reported that 75% of women lack the minimum level of iron consumption in the body. It is either digested or absorbed at a higher level than men or adults. Adolescent girls may undergo biochemical reactions which lead to low iron levels.

They consume a balanced diet from adolescents and are physically active. They have no menstruation issues. Men eat a lot of food to maintain their cycle of the body. Boys at a younger age have a more active than women. According to my insight, I feel women must go for more exercise and value nutritious food to balance the deficiencies.
In a tropical country, iron deficiencies are more common in women. Anemia is indicated with light color lips and whitish tongue. Blood loss is an example of a high iron deficiency in South Asian females. In a paper, 18% of Bangladeshi females suffer iron deficiency due to lack of nutrition. Malnutrition is the reason behind the complication. Iron deficiencies are not only caused due to physiological changes but also because of the psychological set up of a female. One of the effect due to iron deficiency is "hair loss". It also complicates the metabolic process.
Psychological issues are harmful than physiological perspective in a female undergoing the deficiency. Thus it is essential for a female to undergo screening for mineral value test. It also helps in understanding the metabolic pathway of a female as well. At the end of the day, love and care are required by every female to undergo this

Iron supplements consumed on an empty stomach helps in absorption.The meals must be taken along with the lunch to avoid side effects. You may need to take the supplements for several months. Iron supplements may cause constipation or stools that are black in color. Iron contained red meat, dark green, cereals, leafy vegetables, dried fruits, nuts. Additionally, vitamin C helps in absorption of iron.
Every adolescent and pregnant women must undergo CBC to measure a number of components in the blood, red blood cells (RBCs), white blood cells (WBCs), hemoglobin, hematocrit, platelets. The test provides information in diagnosing iron deficiency anemia. The hematocrit level, the level of hemoglobin, the size of RBCs.
A normal hematocrit range varies from 34.9 to 44.5 percent for adult women and 38.8 to 50 percent for adult men. The normal range for hemoglobin is 12.0 to 15.5 grams per deciliter for an adult woman and 13.5 to 17.5 grams per deciliter for an adult man. In iron deficiency anemia, the parameters are low and RBCs are usually got smaller in size than normal. Anemia confirmed with a CBC test to determine how severe the anemia and determine treatments. Microscopic examination help in examining blood and change in ferritin levels or RBC color determine the severity of anemia. Ferritin at low levels indicates low iron storage. Risk factors of Iron deficiency Anemia- Women who menstruate and when their periods are heavy, people with gastrointestinal disorders when iron cannot be absorbed into the body, people who undergo bariatric surgeries etc. are some of the high risk group of people who may have iron deficiency anemia.
