Iphone Persuasive Essay
The iPhone The iPhone has been one of the most influencial technological feats of this decade. For those who do not own one envy it, and those who posses it cannot go throughout their daily routine without it. One of the most sought after items on today's market, the iPhone is Apple's flagship device alongside the iPad. With the wide variety of features and downloadable content the iPhone makes virtually anything possible in the palm of your hand. Having personal experience with the iPhone I can say that it is nothing short of amazing. The practically flawless setup and arrangement of features makes everything fast and easy. For the general smart phone features the iPhone includes email capability, web browsing, incredibly organized texting, and general phone features. However, alongside these basic smart phone applications, the iPhone is also an alarm clock, calendar, MP3 player, gaming device and so much more. The seemingly endless supply of downloadable applications make it anything the user could possibly need. The many applications the iPhone has available to …show more content…
The iPhone itself can range anywhere from three hundred dollars for the 3G all the way to six hundred and fifty dollars for the iPhone 4G. Now, even though the phone is incredible, this is an extremely excessive price tag. Even if you pay for unlimited talk, text, and web it costs eighty dollars if you have your own mobile plan, and anywhere from forty to fifty dollars if you are a part of someone else's plan. One more thing that adds to the enormous list of bills is that not all applications are free, so not only might you have to pay for the app, but if you are not plugged into your computer you have to pay for the wireless web service to download the app as

The End of AT&T’s Absolute Advantage in iPhone Sales The iPhone is the most sought-after smartphone on the market today. Since 2007, the iPhone is currently available only through AT&T. For years, there have been rumors that other wireless providers, such as Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon Wireless would get the iPhone. In October, the Wall Street Journal reported that Apple is in the process of producing an iPhone that will be available to Verizon Wireless customers beginning in 2011. With large numbers of customers wanting an iPhone but choosing not to sign with AT&T, competition from other smartphones manufacturers, such as the BlackBerry and Droid, and Apple’s search for new areas of growth, an end to AT&T’s absolute advantage in iPhone sales appears to be on the horizon.…

The first generation of the Apple iPhone was released in 2007. Ever since 2007, there have been five generations of the iPhone, with the newest being released in October of 2012. With being an Apple fan as well as an owner to an iPhone, I personally encourage people to join the iPhone fan club. With an iPhone everything is touch screen, meaning that with the taps of your fingers, the person will be able to access something that is so much more to them than just their phone. Apple iPhones have the capabilities to do many different tasks. For example, instead of having a “menu” screen, like many cell phones, as well as some Android phones, there are many applications, referred to as ‘apps’, that one can find only in the Apple iStore. With apps, they are squares that are on the main screen of one’s phone and according to what type of person or what one is using their phone for, determines what type of applications should go on the mobile device. The possibilities are endless when having an iPhone, the apps range in affordable prices, and also feature the Top 100 Free Apps, which is also extremely convenient. With the iPhone, everything…

Texas texting while driving bill In 2009, Alex Brown crashed her car on her way to school because she was distracted by the text messages on her phone. Alex Brown was from Texas and was going to a school in West Texas. Her family founded the Alex Brown foundation. They traveled around the country, to educate the drivers about the dangers of texting while driving. This accident got attention from the media and it led to the ban of texting while driving in various states in the United States, but ironically, not in Texas. Since the accident, Tom Craddick, former Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, has tried to ban texting and driving in all the cities of Texas three times. The first one was in 2011.…

With iPhones being nearly as expensive as computers, when your iPhone breaks, it makes more sense to repair the damage than it does to just purchase a new phone. A good cell phone maintains great service and is very reliable. Service is a must because the primary reason for having a cell phone is being able to keep in contact with others at all times. The iPhone has great service due to its capability of having 3G, 4G, and LTE service all at once. Other phones are usually not nearly as advanced and can only have service speeds of up to 4G. IPhones are known for their dependability because Apple is easily one of the smartest and most valued companies to feature cell phones. Another great reason the iPhone is reliable is because of how the phone has grown in the past several years. The iPhone is now on its 5th generational model, excluding the amped up versions such as the S or C, and doesn’t have any of the problems the previous may have.…

It’s much easier to tell you what the iPhone can’t do, rather For example, your son is on a trip in Europe for months and you can’t wait to see him. It’s killing you that all you can do is hear his voice. With Facetime, one of iPhone’s main gadgets, Mom can finally have a face to face chat with her missed son. In general, the device makes getting in touch with the people you care about much easier. Mostly every social network web is accessible through the iPhone. Plus, buying a new GPS, a camera, and carrying around an MP3 can be very worrisome. You could easily misplace your average MP3 or brake an expensive camera. Why spend hundreds of dollars on these equipment when all you need to buy and carry is one device? Why waste gas money to go pick up a pizza or go to the bank, when you can make those transactions through your phone? The iPhone saves time and best of all, money! With calendars, agenda apps, alarm clock and weather apps, these tools can help you organize your day and future plans. With the new iPhone 4S, the new Seri software enables you to “tell” your phone what to do, instead of having to find the button for your task. It’s your own personal slave robot in your control. On the flip side, people can easily disregard the negative effects of how this I-can-do-everything device may be changing the way out brain…

Cell Phones Dear Mr President (AKA RICHARD KELLY GAGE lll) The school systems in America today are riddled with violence. If students' didn’t have technology such as phones they would not be able to contact their parents in a state of emergency such as shootings, injures, or bombings. this policy of taking students' phones away at the start of the day and giving them back at the end of the day should not be put into effect. The policy could possibly cause students to be put into harmful situations for longer periods of time.…
