The iPad: Shaping the Society Today
Because of the iPad’s convenience and ease-of-use, it is endowing all ages to enjoy it and also equalizing the intellectuality of society today.
Society is becoming reformed in the ways of technological advances. Nowadays about 8 to 12 percent of people own a tablet or iPad. The iPad is in high demand because, according to Apple.com, it contains, “…the breakthrough in retina display…twice the speed, twice the graphics…up to 128GB of storage…built in WIFI...built in apps…” (Apple.com). Also, according to Adriana Norton in EzineArticles “…The iPad combines an iPhone 's portability with the power and usability of a laptop. It 's got the best of both worlds. It is light and thin, yet it 's got a screen large enough to be user-friendly” (Norton). Ipads are good for everyone, even older people.
Elders are benefiting from the iPad as well. Because of its large screen sleekness, it creates less eye strain. Larger buttons and icons help them to type accurately and quickly while being comfortable. The iPad is lighter and thinner than any netbook or laptop, making it easier to handle and helpful for those with arthritis. The iPad, for the same largeness and color, is good for children too. Children can easily play games which are what most children love to do.
