Investigatory Project in Physics
A Kick in our Personality Every single creature of Earth started with a single atom , turned to molecules , to organelles , to cells , tissues , organs , systems , before it ends up as a complete and fully developed organism . But that was just anatomy and little did we know that more than those stuffs develop human beings. Our appearance we got from our parents. From heredity, the passing of traits , the transferring of genes and chromosomes. Our body is a sculpture well-made and is a masterpiece designed perfectly due to our parents ideas. Our eyes , the little button nose , the curved, glossy lips , the ears that aren’t big, and the body of an awesome look, and everything we awe from our parents to grant everything to us , for their will and courage of making who we are. Other than the chromosomes that mold us , we have other things to chisel us . the experiences from our everyday lives . The issues we got lost into. The problems to lock as through , to make us feel cold and aloof. That we may feel alone that nobody will care for us and lean us during those sad times. And sure, this brings us stress and wrinkles, blackheads and pimples for we think that there is no one who loves us. Oh well, running away maybe our best solution for it. But we just don’t know that it will just go away . It will just like a bubbles that will slowly disappeared. History always repeats itself. And you will never run away. Unless face it , make a solution for it , overcome it and mold yourself for the better. Life is a big ‘‘battlefield’’ and you are the leader of your own troop . You are the only one who control your own team. You’re in charged of your own emotion , feelings , thoughts , impressions , and ideas. And you will not let your own self bring you down. You can do all things just to save your own self. You got to put yourself on top for all the time, to win always the wars that comes into your life. But it is only

Over decades, many Americans reject the ideas of evolution and there were many arguments against the theory of human evolution. However, in order to understand how the human developed, we must look at the human evolution. For many centuries, we have been curious about our origins and our human bodies structure. How we got to be the kind of species we are today, such as the way we look; walking upright on two legs, our hands has five fingers, the size of our brain and teeth, and what makes us a unique species. Our animal ancestors have shaped our body structure in many ways, we humans have a lot in common than you might think with apes, reptiles and even fish.…

    Erikson Biography

“The most glamorous of all wars, is the war between oneself and himself.” How much sense does this quote make? What if it comes from an old warrior who has taken chief leadership roles in four major military battles? This is a quote of my grandfather, General Ahmed El Kouny, a major capstone in my life development. Although a military man with an “armed mentality” as he always labeled himself, he could through basic commonsense come to Erikson’s psychosocial analysis of personal development; a human being is in constant war against oneself. The first battle I faced was the day I was born, a battle of which the borders of my circle of trust was settled. Throughout my years, biological, social and psychological turning points in my life redefined…

    6 Levels of Organization

Now let us look at each structure of life individually, starting with the first level of organization the chemical level. The chemical level consists of atoms and molecules. Five of these atoms are vital for maintaining human life. Carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and calcium are just a few of the atoms that are essential for the survival of the human body. When these atoms combine they form what is known as molecules. These molecules will form together to form cells. At the cellular level is where “life” really starts to begin. Cells are the essential structures of all living organisms. The tissue level follows the cellular level being made up of 4 basic types of tissues epithelial, connective, muscular ad nervous tissues. These tissues will form organs such as the stomach, liver, pancreas, small and large intestine. All these organs individually have a specific job, but the organs listed above also work together to create the digestive system. Different Organs will come together to form different systems in the human body, such as the nervous system, integumentary system, and skeletal system. Without these systems we cannot reach the next level of organization being the individual human. Not one level of organization is any more…

Eyes are organs that detect light, and convert it to electro-chemical impulses in neurons. The simplest photoreceptors in conscious vision connect light to movement. In higher organisms the eye is a complex optical system which collects light from the surrounding environment; regulates its intensity through a diaphragm; focuses it through an adjustable assembly of lenses to form an image; converts this image into a set of electrical signals; and transmits these signals to the brain, through complex neural pathways that connect the eye, via the optic nerve, to the visual cortex and other areas of the brain. Eyes with resolving power have come in ten fundamentally different forms, and 96% of animal species possess a complex optical system.[1] Image-resolving eyes are present in molluscs, chordates and arthropods.[2]…

The researchers thought of trying to come up with a makeshift solar cooker in order to test if this way of cooking may be effective and useful in substituting for a frying pan and a stove. The solar cooker may be a possible alternative when cooking outdoors under the heat of the sun. It could also be a huge energy saver and a safer way of cooking, avoiding hazards such as burns. The researchers have picked the safest and easiest procedure and materials in making a solar cooker so that teenagers or even people younger may try making it themselves. The first step in making the solar cooker was finding the right materials. This included a long narrow box, poster board, a roll of foil, Popsicle sticks, cardboard and barbecue sticks. Since the focal point needed to be somewhere in between 5” to 10”, one box was placed on top of another box of the same length and width. Popsicle sticks were taped to the insides of the box as support. The focal point was set and a piece of poster board, measured to fit in the middle of the box was placed there. The foil was then placed on top of the poster board, making sure it was not as furrowed as possible. It was placed in the heat of the sun and there was a certain spot where the light hit. Two pieces of cardboard were taped to the sides of the spot and the barbecue stick with a whole piece of hotdog was placed where the light hit. The solar cooker with the hotdog was left under the sun’s heat while the researchers watched if it would work. It took about 20-25 minutes before the hotdog was cooked. The researchers then tried to cut another piece of hotdog into smaller pieces to see if it would lessen the time being consumed. It took about 15-20 minutes in cooking the smaller pieces. Lesser time was…
