CHAPTER I
The Problem and Its Setting
This chapter presents the background of the study, rationale, objectives , and the statement of the problem, hypotheses, significance, of the study, and scope and delimitation.
Background of the Study
Coconut Oil and Calamansi has a lot of uses in our daily lives. The researchers want to find out the effect of coconut oil and calamansi peeling as agent for hair oil. It can help the researchers to determine the possibility of oil extracted from the calamansi peeling. It can be fascinating to be more aware to a coconut and calamansi. This activity heps the researchers to know the nutrients in coconut oil that the researchers will use. To be able to know the effect of of coconut oil and calamansi to our hair. To know the importance of coconut oil. To determine a good product. To know the importance of calamansi peeling. This experiment is useful for the researchers to know its effect for doing this project. The importance of knowing this experiment to help the researchers to know the importance and use of coconut oil and calamansi peeling as an agent for hair oil.
This research from on the possibility of oil extracted from calamansi peeling as preservative for hair oil. Hair oil is commonly used by people who have dry hair especially girls. Hair oil moisturize the scalp, it provides hair into the sebaceous glands and promote hair growth. The Calamansi peelings need in this study are abundant in the Philippines. Calamansi peelings contain a preservative called Pectin that is used in preserving jams and jellies. Coconut oil benefits black hair in two important ways. First, coconut oil’s hydrophobic oil characteristics allow it to inhibit the penetration of water from surrounding air and environment. Second, coconut oil is able to bind to the natural protein structure of the hair. This helps the hair retain its natural moisture content and reinforces the hair fiber, making it stronger.
