Investigation into Entertainment at Ubar, Macquarie University.
ABSTRACT: The Macquarie Ubar provides students with a place to relax, socialize, and catch up with friends during their free time at university. Throughout the week the venue hosts pool competitions, bingo, and trivia nights, yet after discussion with Ubar management, the venue seems to be experiencing a low amount of attendees to these events. The decision to be made by Ubar Management as a result of the marketing research is whether or not to introduce more entertainment or to change the current entertainment offered to students during the day at Ubar. The in-‐depth interviews carried out revealed detailed information about current and potential patrons of the Ubar including demographics, habits, preferences and opinions in regards to entertainment and Ubar.
