Introduction

The business process is under the IT revolution, which is transforming the way we do the business. The way our basic business operations like decision making, customer services, operations, marketing strategies, financial management, Human Resources management, etc. are done are being reformed with the use of computers. Most of our current day business operations are dependent on computers either partially or entirely.

Most sari- sari store nowadays use computers in Inventorying and monitoring an item. Sari – Sari store are now making their systems computerized because using a computerized system will help the sari-sari store minimize the time and efforts consumed by using manual system.

The Inventory and Monitoring system is breakdown the old processing of a sari – sari store that use a manual transaction or processing. And The Salve sari-sari store has open on July 15, 2005 and here business has growing up and she need to upgrade here sari – sari store and she need I give him a system that manage and monitor his item and easily to carry.

Background of the Study

Inventory is basically the total amount of goods and materials held in stock by a , store and other business. An inventory system is a process whereby a business keeps track of the goods and material it has available. In its simplest sense it can be done manually by a count at the end of each day. In this way it is possible to keep a record of the goods coming in to the business and goods being sold.

Since manual inventory consumes a lot of time and is prone to errors, it would be helpful to build a system that will computerize the transactions from acquisition of the product description to updating the inventory database. The computerized inventory system will improve employees’ work efficiency by computerizing routinely and time consuming tasks such as the time spent in taking down product information.
