INTRODUCTION

Paul Mutha: Second Secretary at Kenya High Commission, Malaysia

During my final years of high school as well as pre-university, I participated in the Model United Nations (MUN). I took a keen interest foreign policies as well as human resource management. As a international student as well as a Kenyan citizen abroad, I have first hand experience on the importance and value of the Kenya high commission. I someday aspire to represent my country as a diplomatic attaché . Therefore I chose the interviewee based on this reasoning.

Location: Kuala Lumpur conventional center KLCC
Time: 10am 02/04/2013
Duration: 40min (interview 20min)

Due to unforeseen circumstances, my original proposed interviewee was predisposed.therefor the change in date, time, location as well as interviewee.

INTERVIEW FINDINGS

Mr.Mutha 34 has been the second secretary at the Kenya high commission since February 2012. he also currently holds a position as a foreign service officer at the ministry of foreign affairs in Kenya since June 2007. Mr.Mutha is currently enrolled in University of Malaya perusing his masters degree.
Before his employment in the ministry of foreign affairs Nairobi, Mr.Muthas first job was at Unga Group Ltd where he has a quality analyst. this is where he had his first interview. the comically explains his first interview as being disaster in his opinion and was very shocked when two months later he received a call that he got the job.
Mr.Mutha with a great sense of humor explains that during his interview. he arrived over 45 min early and the interview began 2 hours late.by the time the interview had began he had sweted through his shirt due to a combination of waiting for hours in the heat and being nervous. the interviewee only asked him a series of only 9 questions, did not smile, ask for his relevant documentation and sent him on his way. he didn’t not expect to get any positive feed back due to the cold nature of the interviewee.to his

    Based on the information given I see this as an act of terrorism because of where the explosion went off. Any explosion on a military base cannot be defined as a terrorist attack versus just an attack. In this case attacking the community center means you are looking at killing not just members of the U.S. military but also the families that reside there.
