One reason why I’ve selected to interview my grandfather is that he was an excellent salesperson. According to my grandad himself, he told me in his interview that he was able to persuade people to trade and make profit off his stock of hardware back when he was young in Libya. His work ethics and persuasive techniques touch my heart because in the mere future, I would hope to become an entrepreneur and convince people to buy my idea and services. As stated by my grandad himself, “I saw myself as a diplomat working for the Ethiopian government. In the past, and currently today, Ethiopia and Djibouti had never had good relations. So, in retaliation of one another’s hatred, both governments sent out spies to monitor each others activities such as militarily, economically or politically.
