Jones noted that while at the FMA he was promoted to CEO of the association and he worked in that leadership role for several years. The most significant change came when the FMA decided to offer allied health professionals membership per the voting results from the current physician members which created some animosity within the organization. The votes were very narrow in margin which left some members alienated since they wanted to keep the association more focused on physicians only. Mr. Jones decided that the best way to address the membership was to inform them on how the decision will assist their practice as a whole by inviting their own staff to be a part of the continuing medical education process. Apparently it worked as according to him there were no reports of a mass exodus of physicians leaving FMA and membership grew stronger with the change implemented. The previous results…

When you want to know something, one of the greatest ways to learn is to interview someone on a topic that you know nothing about or a little about. To help me learn more about the Early Education field I interviewed a lead teacher from the local Head Start Preschool program. She was able to give me more insight on what is needed to be done to become a teacher and what is required of her.…

This assignment really allowed me to examine those around me and their varying beliefs about creation. I was shocked to discover that people so close to me actually believe in evolution and the big bang theory. I consider it a privilege to have opened up this door to conversation with people I never even considered. The course has prepared me to apologetically defend and explain the creation account and the gospel. Please be in prayer with me as the Lord wants to use me to speak truth to my neighbor. Through the course of this paper I will detail the answers of my interviewees from a survey with many vital framework questions concerning origin. For the survey I interviewed my mother, father, and next door neighbor.…

He’s also retired from a local production plant where he worked for 11 years in Montgomery, AL. I interviewed my sociology instructor Chelsea Bullard; she is a red head and has a very bubbly personality. In class she smiles and laughs frequently. Interviewing her was interesting because she is a grad student and has been in school for seven years and has two- three more years to go. Her experiences can be helpful for people that are undecided about their major. Declaring a major can be very scary. It’s normal for college students to find a new passion while in college straying from their intended major.…

After reading the requirement for this interview paper, I asked some friends to see if experience ethic issues have at their workplace. Unfortunately, most of them are working part-time as student assistants for San Jose State University, and therefore do not deal with ethics issue. While continuing to find the right person to interview, I received a call from my old community college classmate, Vivian Huynh. After speaking to her on the on phone, Vivian agreed to spend time to talk about ethics issues that she faced at work.…

On November 18, 2012 at 1:00pm I interviewed Stephan Baldwin, a substance abuse counselor at Stephens Medical Hospital in Edmonds. The reason for this interview was for me to gather as much information in the substance abuse field as possible and the requirements needed for this type of position, and to expand my professional network. For a long time I have debated a career in business or psychology. If I chose psychology I would want to do something related to counseling, or even possibly be a psychiatrist. So I thought that interviewing someone in this position would help me understand if this was the kind of career I would be interested in.…
