I asked him, “What path did you take to get to this position?” He answered, “First I had to decide what I wanted to do with my life, and then I knew where I wanted to go.” I asked, “What should I major in if I hope to someday achieve a position like this? He answered, “Nursing.” I asked, “What advice would you give to someone hoping to achieve a apposition like this? He said, “It’s a good field to major in and you will never be out of a job.” I asked, “What is the biggest challenge facing individual interested in your position?” He said, “Just doing what you need to do. You will have some people who will procrastinate, so use that to your advantage. I asked, “What opportunities for volunteer or part time work should I be looking for to help me achieve this position?” He said, “Volunteering at a hospital.” I asked, “What opportunities are there to network with professionals in your field?” He said, “A lot, especially at hospitals.” I asked, “What skills or qualities are important to possess if you are interested in this position?” He stated, “Take it and see how you like it. I asked, “What should I get involved in currently to help me achieve my goals?” He stated, “Get very involved in your volunteer hours.”
