I am Thankful to my Trainer, Mr. Mrugank Purohit who gave me an immense experience of the corporate world which can never be described through words and I am also thankful to all the staffs at L&T for providing us with proper guidance and help with beautiful friendly environment around. I am Thankful to God for always being with me, my Parents and Friends for supporting and guiding me for making the internship a success.
I would also like to thank our college Library and the Librarian for providing us with useful and guiding books.
Preface
The report deals with the summer internship program carried out after the completion of fourth semister. A brief description of the activities carried out being an internee at Larsen & Toubro is mentioned here. All about the department and the work carried out there is described very vividly over here.
The basic objective of the internship was to gain knowlage and experience about corporate world and especialy about Human Resourse department. While doing the internship we got to enhace our knowlage as well as learned function and activities of HR department.
What L&T is and basically what the Power department of L&T is into is brought into lime light in this report.

This report is in accordance with the internship carried after IVth Semester as to gain experience about corporate life and about the work done in an organisation.Internship was carried in Larsen & Toubro Ltd under the branch of L&T Power. The focus of the internship was on Human Resource Department of L&T Power.
The report contains various functions like Learning and Development, Recruitment, Performance Appraisal, Statutary Compliances, Employee Engagement, Employee Benefits, Compensation and Manpower Planning/ Budgeting
