You are able to send them e-mail or massages anytime or chat with them face to face for free. It saves a lot of time and money. The world becomes a little village. However, some people believe that internet access creates some problems. On-line friendships will turn out dangerous as you will never be sure who the other person is. And internet is very addictive.
