Technology amelioration has led to a Gnostic generation attending any classroom. Therefore it is a teacher’s responsibility to upgrade his knowledge level. Attention retention in a classroom can be achieved only if a tutor is able to keep up with the knowledge base of his protégé. In fact, a tutee only respects a teacher who is able to keep pace with his knowledge level and help him go a step further in his search for knowledge.
A precise and methodical planning for each session, thus, turns out to be an unavoidable exercise for a tutor. It can help a teacher focus and keep ahead of his student. We are in an age where the computer takes on the role of a tutor. It delivers electronically programmed instructions to its tutees. Computers involve its tutee in the learning process and help him in recording his progress. It adapts to the pace of its learners who have the sole discretion of going back and forth until he can ensure his understanding of the concept. A human tutor thus has an uphill task in front of him. He is vying with a machine to gain the attention of his tutee. A student who is self-directed, autonomous and independent needs a teacher only to direct his steps. He takes it up from there and steadily moves on with his learning. Therefore it is imperative for a teacher to direct the first unknown step to him. This if achieved can make a difference in the life of the student. A good teacher shows only one corner of the classroom to his students and helps them to discover the other three. This adage is apt for the new generation teachers and students. The New-Gen learning methods which include the mobile apps and various other apps found on internet have made learning easier for the students. Therefore the students do not feel it necessary to be present in a classroom unless they are profited by it. Making a session interesting and unavoidable for the student is a highly complicated task for the teacher. It becomes mandatory for the teacher to become tech-savvy so as to gain the confidence and respect of the students.     Computers have been injected as a component in teaching because it can motivate children and be as a teaching aid for teachers. The impact of AI (Artificial intelligence) has played an important role in student’s life. As Coiffet (n.d.) said children easily integrate with the new systems of technology, even without looking the help of how they work. Advantages and inconveniences are recognized.     This day and age computer technologies are being widely used in most if not all sectors of industries in the world and the educational domain is no exception either. They are chiefly used to access information for doing research and assignments in the latter field, because of the availability of extensive amount of data on the Internet. Admittedly, it might be very difficult for a student to imagine doing and submitting a coursework in a handwritten form rather than soft and printed version. Computers are also widely applied to gain knowledge from a distance, however, those devices do not teach the students themselves. A teacher and a student are connected to each other from any corner of the globe to have a lesson using video conferencing technologies like a computer and a webcam. Furthermore, there are some websites that are intended to teach people a certain subject and of course those online courses are also done by the specialist teachers of those subjects. So that regardless of how functional and sophisticated computers are, they can only complement rather than supplant teachers. It is also believed that sooner or later robot-based learning will widely spread in classrooms all over the world, but I strongly believe that artificial intelligence can never fully replace the role of teachers in classes. Currently some teacher robots are being experimented to deliver lessons for school children in Japan and the USA according to the New York Times report, but the results and the efficiency of those classes are not evident for the time being as far as I know. In my opinion, student interaction with such artificial people is not as encouraged as a human tutor. Because machines are highly programmed only to perform basic tasks and teach young children simple subjects like foreign languages. They may not be able to answer a student’s any questions thrown at them, because artificial tutors are programmed to answer only those questions which are related to the subject…
