Installing an Embroidery Machine System Software

INSTALLING EMBROIDERY MACHINE
SYSTEM SOFTWARE

PLEASE NOTE! WHEN INSTALLING SYSTEM SOFTWARE, YOU WILL LOOSE ALL THE
DESIGNS IN THE MEMORY, AND CERTAIN PARAMETER SETTINGS WILL HAVE TO
BE RESET.
1, PLEASE CONFIRM THAT THE POWER TO THE MACHINE IS TURNED OFF.
2, PLACE THE NEW SYSTEM DISC IN THE DISC READER.
3, PRESS AND HOLD BOTH THE SET AND THE F-3 BUTTONS, AS YOU PUT THE
POWER SWITCH TO THE ON POSITION. THE WORD “INSTALLING” WILL APPEAR
ON THE DISPLAY AND KEYS; A, B, C, AND D WILL LIGHT UP. AT THIS POINT,
CONTINUE TO HOLD THE F-3 BUTTON, BUT RELEASE THE “SET” BUTTON. AFTER
THE D KEY LIGHTS UP YOU WILL HEAR A CLUNK AND THE MACHINE WILL START
BEEPING AT YOU. AT THIS POINT YOU CAN LET GO OF THE F3 BUTTON.
4, FOR TMFX-C AND TMFX-IIC ENTER 2 WHERE IT ASKS FX:2 THEN HIT SET.
WHEN THE LETTERS “N_NOS” APPEAR ON THE DISPLAY ENTER THE NUMBER OF
NEEDLES ON EACH HEAD (9, 12, 15, ETC..) THEN HIT SET. FOR TMFX AND TMEXC MACHINES PROCEED TO STEP 9.
5, THE MACHINE IS NOW ASKING FOR THE NUMBER OF NEEDLES ON EACH
HEAD, AND THE NUMBER OF HEADS ON THE MACHINE. USEING THE JOG
DIAL SELECT THE NUMBER OF NEEDLES, ( 9, 12, OR 15 ) AND PRESS THE
SET BUTTON.
***IF MACHINE IS A MULTIHEAD MACHINE NOW USING THE JOG DIAL, SELECT
THE NUMBER OF HEADS
ON THE MACHINE, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, ETCETERA AND PRESS THE SET BUTTON.
IF MACHINE IS A TFHXII-C1504 YOU CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN 4D AND 4R. PICK
ONE AND AFTER SOFTWARE IS LOADED TRY A COLOR CHANGE UNDER D KEY. IF
THERE IS A KNOCKING NOISE COMING FROM HEAD ONE THEN SOFTWARE MUST
BE RELOADED AND THE OTHER SHOULD BE SELECTED.
6, IF THE WORD “CAM” APPEARS, AND YOUR MACHINE HAS A STANDARD
BOBBIN, USE THE JOG DIAL TO CHOOSE THE NUMBER 5, THEN PRESS THE
SET BUTTON. IF THE MACHINE HAS A JUMBO BOBBIN PRESS 3, THEN SET.
7, IF YOUR MACHINE IS A MODEL TFHX, AFTER YOU SELECT THE NUMBER OF
NEEDLES ON THE MACHINE, YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE THE TYPE.
FROM THE FOLLOWING LIST, USING THE JOG DIAL, SELECT THE
APPROPRIATE TYPE, AND PRESS THE SET
