Introduction

Insects are everywhere and we must admit that sometimes they can cause big trouble to us. Like mosquitoes that can cause Dengue, that can cause human to death, so that is the reason why people search for a thing that can prevent from insects to cause big problem.
Insect repellants is a substance applied to skin, clothing, or other surfaces which discourages insects (and arthropods in general) from landing or climbing on that surface. Insect repellents help prevent and control the outbreak of insect-borne diseases such as malaria, Lyme disease, dengue fever, bubonic plague, and West Nile fever. Pest animals commonly serving as vectors for disease include the insect’s flea, fly, and mosquito; and the arachnid tick. But some insect repellants are expensive. So the researcher search an insect repellant that are all natural, not expensive, but effective to kill those insects, so that you can prevent the danger that insects will may bring.

Most without a doubt would turn to insects being a host that can spread a disease or virus through air or by land quicker than animals and humans probabaly would. Now this should not be a complete green light for man to begin bug spraying evrerything around them to assure they do not get sick, for I can assure you that the bug spray bottle you hold can kill you probably quicker than any disease everwill. I stand with Racheal Carsons belief that insecticides isn’t the best option for exterminating or balancing the insect population. First we need to understand that when we grow a certain crop in just one certain field, despite how organized that is. If an insect thrives off of a certain plant which is the same plant growing in an entire field, that insect will grow in population.…

But, you will be startled to see the batallions of ants, living permanently under your bedroom door. Ok, you are getting very upset with this condition, and you try to get rid of them by using common insects killer spray. It might work, but it is temporarily. For many decades insects were and still are considered enemies mainly for farmers. In the early 1900's there was a woman biologist who devoted her entire life to saving nature. Her name was Rachel Carson and she changed the whole idea of what people thought was the right solution for getting rid of insects. At that time, scientists discovered pesticides that would kill the insects and end the war between farmers and insects that attacked their crops. Rachel Carson introduced her point of view from her scientific research to the public through her book titled Silent Spring, which is about humans destroying the entire earth and all the living things including humans themselves instead of supporting life.…

These chemicals are now universally used on almost every farm and in almost every home across this country. They are “nonselective chemicals that have the power to kill every insect, the 'good ' and the 'bad, ' to still the song of birds and the leaping of fish in the streams, to coat the leaves with a deadly film, and to linger on in the soil.” Sadly enough, the destination of these insecticides are usually only a few annoying bugs among the thousands that exist (Carson par. 7).…

An insecticide is a substance used by humans to gain some advantage in the struggle with various insects that are considered “pests”. In the sense used here, a pest insect is considered undesirable, from the human perspective, because: (a) it is a vector that transmits disease causing pathogens to humans (such as those causing malaria or yellow fever), or other diseases to livestock or crop plants; or (b) it causes a loss of the productivity or economic value of crop plants, domestic animals, or stored foodstuffs. The abundance and effects of almost all insect pests can be managed through the judicious use of insecticides.…
