A. The knee joint has four main ligaments which are responsible for it being stabile. The main ligaments are
1. Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL)
2. Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL)
3. Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL)
4. Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL)
III. What is Runners knee?
A. Runner's knee is a common among runners. But it can also happen to any athlete who does activities that involve a lot of knee bending such as walking, jumping, and biking. These activities usually cause aching pain around the kneecap.
B. Runner’s knee pain area is located in the knee. Some common symptoms are knee pain that worsens when walking up or down stairs. Also kneeling, squatting, or sitting cross-legged also may hurt badly with runner’s knee. Something that is also common is a crackling sound in the knee.
IV. Many events in track and field are the cause of runner’s knee. An event in track and field that may cause runners knee is 3200 meter run.
A. The 3200 meter run is a track and field event that consist of eight laps around a track. This event takes strategy, patience, and endurance.

Conclusion: Track and field involves the actions of running, jumping, and throwing. Injuries tend to happen due to the lack of practicing preventive methods before and after performing the basic and advanced skills in track and field.
