Informative Speech On Holocaust
Today I will be telling you about 3 websites that I found on the holocaust and also I will tell you about the word "holocaust," made from the Greek words "holos" (whole) and "kaustos" (burned), these words were historically used to describe a sacrificial offering burned on an altar. But since 1945, the word has taken on a new and horrible meaning: the mass murder of some 6 million European jews as well as members of some other persecuted groups. And about the others which say the same thing which is the holocaust was the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jews by the nazi regime and its collaborators. According to the website Jewish virtual library (deaths).” Over 6 million jews died in concentration camps the holocaust was the brutal, state-sponsored persecution of six million jews by the nazis and its collaborators.” They mostly killed them in concentration camps or in the pits they had to dig and be shot into by the SS or sometimes called the officers of death. It was horrific,the ss got tired of shooting so they started using Zyklon b which is a chemical in the air that kills you.and also they used gas vans with the same technology.(gas vans)Also they had to shoot the people who disobeyed them like on the trains that took them to the camps from mr morgans teachings i learned about a person who tried to give someone else water and a ss officer threatened to kill the person. In conclusion, there are many effects and causes of the holocaust. How bad it was for some of the people who had to live through it. And imagine if you were in the concentration camps with your family and lets say you got a job that you had to put the people in the crematorium and what if it was your family. That is why you should learn a lot about the holocaust and now you know you will know how to deal with it if it ever happens again,lets hope it does not happen ever, ever again because an effect of the new holocaust might be WW III.
