Informative Speech
Introduction: College. The place where it can make you or break you. We can all relate to being excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time once we got to Texas State. We were no longer big bad seniors walking the halls of high school, but scared little freshman walking around this University looking for our class and at one point getting lost. We are all freshman in college, and although we’ve already been here for about 2 months we sometimes still need help on specific things. Although we are currently going through our first semester and only need five more weeks to finish we still need some advice. Even though we don’t want to admit it we all want “tips” on how to survive freshman year in college. I’m a freshman so I’m not saying that I’m an expert at this but from researching information and talking to some friends and family that have gone through their freshman year in college I can share some tips with you that can hopefully help throughout the year.

Body:
Point 1:We come into college and most of us don’t know anyone. Making friends in college can sometimes be really awkward because you don’t want to seem too forward. I mean I’m pretty sure people will think you’re creepy if you start telling them your whole life story. Just start off by telling them the simple information about you like your name, where you come from, and what made you choose Texas State. Once you get to know that person and its seems that you two are friends then you can start letting them know more about you. But like I said before don’t tell them more than they need to know because then they’ll probably start slowly walking away. One tip you can remember is that wherever you go around campus, whether its in class or just sitting in the lobby of your residence hall, is to introduce yourself to the person next to you every time you sit down. Start up a conversation with at least one new person each day. I mean I don’t promise that you’ll become best friends with that person

Introduction: “That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” When that phrase is spoken everyone knows who said it, when it happened and what kind of leap it was. It was a leap into space for America. Neil Armstrong said it, while accompanied with Buzz Aldrin as they landed on the moon, July 20, 1969. A third man, Michael Collins, stayed in orbit, and waited for the two to come back, and return back to Earth. 1. This informative speech on “The Cause of Homelessness “is very Inform able and worth listening to, because in today’s economy it could be you or me. Some seem to think homelessness is choice. I find this speech relevant to the world I live in today, due to the high unemployment rate, declining job market, and the economic hardships that families are enduring. This topic is not a broad one, but yet can be spoke of in depth due to the fact I see many homeless people but never thought it would be me until I seen a family friend who has lost everything, this is what made me more aware that it is not just a choice and any day it could be me. So when you see a homeless person do not judge it could be you.…

Hello, everyone: today my speech is about the famous animations in America, Japan and China. Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement. The effect is an optical illusion of motion due to the phenomenon of persistence of vision, and can be created and demonstrated in several ways. The most common method of presenting animation is as a motion picture or video program, although there are other methods.…
