Did you know that bats are mammals? We know they are mammals just like us because we have analyzed them, and know they are warm blooded. They are the only mammal that known how to fly. Bats are nocturnal, which means they sleep during the day, and are awake at night. Bess are interesting animals. The honey bee can fly 15 miles per hour! A hive of honey bees has about 40,000 bees in it. An attribute of the honey bee i that is has 5 eyes. A worker bee will make 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey over its lifetime. Bees have been making honey for about 150 million years.
