Born: Shreveport, Louisiana on December 6, 1988; Raised in Marshall, Texas
High School: Graduated in June 2007 from Marshall Senior High School in the Top 10 Percent of graduating class.
College: Graduated with Honors in February 2009 from AIB College of Business in Des Moines, Iowa with an Associate in Applied Science Degree majoring in Information Technology and Business Administration. She continued on to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in February 2010 from AIB College of Business majoring in Business Administration. In April 2011, she received a Weatherization Certificate from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa and is now currently seeking to obtain an Alternative Teacher Certification in Texas from Texas A &

Employment Status: Jessica currently works full-time for QuikTrip Corporation as a customer service clerk in the convenience stores and assists the Human Resources department, whenever needed with hiring. She also works part-time for Grand Prairie Independent School District as a substitute teacher for grades K-12. Much of her career has involved working in management positions. She is the Co Host for the I AM Special Weekly Inspirational Motivational Call in which she creates JuMpInG Points to provide to the youth, young adults, and the young at heart with words to remember in case they lack self motivation, have low self-esteem, or just need a phrase to remember when trying to achieve their goals and do great things with their abilities.
Career Goals: To own and operate a licensed Christian Learning center for children ages 0 to 13. She desires to work with young people and adults to prepare them for the things that they have been designed to do. #DoitNowandTalklater

    The lecture last week gave me a clearer understanding as to why parents might deny services that could help their children with disabilities. Instead of just focusing on the emotional aspect of it, I was able to see the logical side of such a tremendous decision.
