Unilever Nepal operates as a subsidiary of Hindustan Lever Ltd. It commenced production of detergent powder in 1994, toilet soap in 1995, and Close up tooth paste in 1996. The company’s product portfolio includes soap, tooth paste, detergent, hair and skin care. Among its distributed brands are Lux, Close up, and Pepsodent.
