Bahwa banyak negara di luar Indonesia telah berpindah dari gaya pemerintahan berbasis kertas beralih ke konsep e-Government. Munculnya paradigma baru demi untuk mencapai nilai yang lebih besar dalam pemberian layanan dan pengurangan biaya dalam memberikan layanan yang baik kepada warga negara. Namun adanya kebutuhan ini mengharuskan pemerintahan mendesain ulang dan memperbaiki organisasinya. Bahwa harus disadari, peningkatan kualitas hanya terjadi jika ada

    This paper examines the economic environment of doing business in Indonesia. It takes into account several dimensions such as political, legal, economics, social and technology factors. However, economics and political factors are covered in depth as they have a greater impact on establishing advantages and challenges when a firm might decide to set up a business in Indonesia. The results show that not only legal origins have an impact on corporate finance, ownership and structure, but also politics. The poor quality of the judiciary and legal system and the bureaucracy is much more a legacy of the Soeharto government than of the Dutch colonial system (and French civil law). From the analysis of economics trends emerged that from 2002 to 2004, Indonesia’s economic has suffered as a result of a loss of policy credibility, which weakened its currency and caused high level of inflation. In such circumstances, monetary and competition set of policies have been issued to remediate the downward trends. Reductions on tariffs and interest rates decline have contributed to a rapid increase in credit expansion and new competitiveness. This paper also finds that Indonesia offers a great deal of resources such as rubber and mineral resources along with skilled labour. Although an automotive component firm might benefit from those resources, there are few implications such as weak infrastructure and corruption which would constrain foreign investors to discard investments in Indonesia. In conclusion, challenges are higher than potential advantages with regards to the automotive component industry. However, this paper outlines in its conclusion a recommendation in the circumstance whereby foreign investors will not discard investments. In order to overcome potential problems concerned with the excessive red tape and corruption, this paper suggest a joint venture entry mode with a business group such as the Salim Group.…

    The relationship between the monarchy in ancient China and Indonesia since the 7th century , and perhaps earlier has begun. Indonesia is part of the Maritime Silk Road connecting China and India and the Arab world. A large number of Chinese ceramics are found throughout Indonesia suggested link between the two ancient trade . National Museum of Indonesia has one of the best Chinese ceramics and found outside China , Chinese and Japanese the most complete collections , Tang, Song, Yuan , Ming and Qing dynasty spanned nearly two thousand years. [ 2 ] This particular collection give a good insight into Indonesia's maritime trade in the past few centuries . Research shows that Chinese sailed through Indonesia to India as early as the Western Han Dynasty ( 205 BC to 220 AD ) , as part of the Maritime Silk Road , the company 's trade relations were established . [ 3 ] The traditional Indonesian archipelago , is determined as the Nanyang Chinese ancient geography , spices such as cloves, cubeb , nutmeg and sources of raw materials such as sandalwood , gold and tin , also has a rare and exotic items such as ivory , rhino horn , tiger skins and bones, exotic birds and colorful feathers. The fine silk and ceramics China is seeking an ancient kingdom in Indonesia . Indonesia Buddhism from India to China to expand also play a role. A Chinese monk, I - Green , during his visit to visit the Srivijaya months in 6716 from India to obtain Buddhist scriptures . [ 4 ] [ 5 ] Other Chinese accounts and chronicles also worked in several ancient country of Indonesia mentioned today .…

    The government agency implements Elektronik Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan (EPBT) system. They started implementing EPBT system during the year of 2008. This system was first introduced by vendors that required these government agencies to purchase it. So at first, most government agencies refuse to use EPBT as they need to buy the system. Then only, Kementerian Perumahan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPJT) introduced this system to be use by most of government agencies for free. KPJT send out their executives known as F21 executives to each government agencies to train and teach the staffs on using the EPBT system. The previous system used by the agency is MPK system. The reason why they change to the new system that is EPBT is because of the flaws of the old system. The EPBT system software is called EPBT oracle while the old system software is called MPK visual basic.
