Incomplete Case 19
Out of 19 auditors, only 5 or 26.32% completed their target with no discrepancies. Some auditors have completed/exceeded their ATM goals, however, tagged as incomplete.

Reasons for tagging as Incomplete are as follows:

1. Incorrect tagging on ABQ column 2. Incorrect tagging on Associate status column

3. Incorrect monitoring type was chosen

For calibration, only M@ Email/Phones, were able to meet the 100% submission rate.

As per the Coaching Compliance, almost half of the auditors failed to submit their coaching logs.

Based on my analysis of the transcript, I believe that RedPack Beer Company should increase its reserve, specifically the reserve related to Golden Holdings. Per the discussion with Katie Henson, RedPack Beer does not currently maintain a reserve for the outstanding balance of $2,706.54. Clint Maddox mentioned that RedPack would not let this receivable go uncollected and that a collection agency would be used to collect the balance. Based on the normal arrangements with the collection agency, RedPack would receive 50% of the collection they receive from the customer. Therefore, to remain consistent with RedPack’s conservative approach, I believe that Golden Holdings reserve should be increased by $1,353.47 (half of their current outstanding balance). In regards to the reserves for Distinct Beer and Eagle Beverage, I believe that these two reserves are properly valued and should remain at their current amount. These two reserves should remain the same because RedPack has already accounted for the entire outstanding balance for Eagle Beverage in which they will be issuing a credit memo for that remaining balance. RedPack has already taken conservative steps to account for Distinct Beer’s outstanding balance by including 50% of that balance in the reserve. Based on this, Distinct Beer’s reserve should remain unchanged until new circumstances arise that force the reserve to be recalculated.…

Saturn and Venus, form Jupiter, a joint venture. Saturn owns 51 percent of Jupiter and Venus owns 49 percent of Jupiter. The purpose of Jupiter is to own and operate organic clothing design and manufacturing facilities and sell organic clothing to unrelated retailers. When Jupiter was formed, Saturn contributed $561 million to Jupiter and Venus contributed four manufacturing facilities with an assembled workforce, with a total fair value of $539 million to Jupiter. Venus was looking to exit its clothing manufacturing business, as this business no longer was a strategic fit for Venus. However, Saturn was looking to expand its footprint in the…

In 2009, the total liabilities were 29.81% of the total assets, and the total shareholders’ equity was 70.91% of the total assets. In 2010, the total liabilities were 37.51%, and the total shareholders’ equity was 62.49% of the total asset. This indicates that Logitech is not a high leverage company, with a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.42 in 2009 and 0.60 in 2010. However, this is unusual for a technological…

What philosophical approach do you believe Captain Strong should take in carrying out this project? The Equity theory explains what is going on within Captain Strong’s station. Within the equity theory, there is no way of saying how or who person decide to compare themselves to, or how they place value on inputs and outcomes (More, Vito, & Walsh, 2012). Since the equity theory has shown that performance and motivation do become a factors within some stations, and this particular station is having problems in the patrol department not seeing their areas of work fair compared to other departments that are allowed to have lunches together, have lighter workloads and working together. Since there have been low morale and citizen-initiated complaints the matter needs to be handled quiet quickly.…

“Validity is the extent to which a test measures what we actually wish to measure” (Cooper and Schindler, 2014, p.257). “Reliability has to do with the accuracy and precision of a measurement procedure” (Cooper and Schindler, 2014, p. 257). Validity is more critical to measurement than reliability because without validity, reliability is meaningless. For example, a bathroom scale may give a weight each time a person weighs themselves, which proves the scale is reliable in giving feedback. If the scale displays an incorrect weight each time then it is not a valid weight and a person cannot accurately measure themselves to know if a goal is being met or not. Validity and reliability can also be thought of in terms of a person and their work. A person may show up to work on time and complete all tasks that are required everyday, which proves they are reliable, however if they tasks are not completed correctly then there is no validity to work and it must be redone. Finally, validity…
