Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl
By Fidel Franco
On this book the tail is about a girl that suffers as being a slave and the worst part is that she didn't even know she has a slave. Linda Brent saw a lot of things while being with Dr. Flint, there for she came to a conclusion that¨ slavery deadens the moral sense of all involved¨. Now I'm not sure if the slaveholders moral was deaden since at that time that was the correct way to act, or I think what she means when she uses the word involved she means the people who are slaves. In any case she thinks that this is a non motivation for people that are in that situation. In my opinion I think that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. The main point is that moral comes within even in cases like Linda that was a slave. In that time slaveholders though that slave did not have any morals or be ethical or educated since they where people that where only there to serve and obey . Now slavery does not diminish your morals why, because in those time slave where consider as asset, object or belonging people did not see or cared what you did because you belong to somebody. Now this could not be all the cases as you could see on the book since Linda Grandmother got her freedom and was a person like everybody else now this is the real questions we can ask...
