From the 19 subsections of the pathology ad laboratory section, I chose In Vivo (eg Transcutaneous) Laboratory Procedures. There are only 5 codes listed in this section. The CPT code range is 88720-88749, with 88749 used for all unlisted in vivo laboratory services. The subsection specifically states that wavelength fluorescent spectroscopy of advanced glycation end products should use the 88749. There are codes listed for measuring bilirubin and hemoglobin. There are 3 different codes for measuring hemoglobin but only 1 code for measuring bilirubin (88720). Some of the reasons to test bilirubin is to diagnose jaundice in newborns, look for blockages in the liver's bile ducts, and monitor the progression of hepatitis. A couple of uses

Because the performance of the surgeons was so high in less amount of time, this lowered the readmission rate for the same health issue.
