Imperialism In Africa During The 18th And 19th Centuries
Imperialism is one countries domination of political, economic and social structure of another country. The main reasons behind imperialism are nationalism, culture, and resources. During the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, imperialism was growing in Africa. The main countries involved in the imperialism in Africa were the German, French, Great Britain.
Nationalism is another way of saying national pride. Europeans had great power and pride and wanted to show just how powerful they were by gaining parts of Africa.
