Everton have had a fantastic 2012. David Moyes’ side are currently fifth the English Premier League 5 points above local rivals Liverpool.
However, the next month could prove a very nervous time for the clubs fans as the look to keep their key players at the club. The likes of Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini have recently been linked with moves away from Goodison Park. There’s no doubt Moyes’ main priority this January will be convincing these two to stay.
Despite this, I’d expect Everton took make moves of their own before the window closes. Here’s a look at the players the club has been linked with recently.
Jack Butland 19, GK (Birmingham) Joleon Lescott 30, CB (Manchester City) Salomon Kalou 27, FW (Lille) Kevin Gameiro 25, CF (PSG) Wissam Ben Yedder 22,CF (Toulouse) Scott Sinclair 23, LW (Manchester City)
Jack Butland
Butland has been linked with a six million pound move away from St. Andrews and Birmingham and reportedly Everton are interested in the future England international.

David Moyes had earmarked Butland as a possible replacement for Tim Howard, who has come in for criticism this season.
Joleon Lescott
Manchester City look set to be waving goodbye to Joleon Lescott in January.
Despite cement a starting berth in the first team, Lescott remains unsettled at the Etihad.

Everton manager David Moyes has in recent weeks welcomed the chance to re-sign the former defender, who saw his stock rise at Goodison Park. Lescott is believed to entertain the idea of a return to the Toffees, where he feels he could reproduce his form of old.

July 1,2003 Beckham signed a four year contract with Real Madrid, making a potential worth of forty million dollars. Beckhams favorite number to wear for his jerseys was the number seven. When he joined Real Madrid he wasn't able to wear his number because another player had it. He then decided to wear the number twenty-three being a fan of Michael Jordan. “I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States...Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people,” (“Hard Facts Hard Truth -Bin Laden ‘Confession Tapes”). This quote is spoken by Osama Bin Laden himself the day after the September 11, 2001 attacks on both Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and attempt to reach the White House although failed and crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Osama Bin Laden then was denying all accusations of him outlining the attacks on September 11, 2001. The morning of September 11, 2001 was not just any traditional day. Throughout history, the language of rhetoric has been harnessed and manipulated by public speakers throughout the world in order to effectively address key issues surrounding society and politics. The proposition that the enduring appeal of a speech lies in its ability to challenge and inspire is clearly demonstrated in both Anwar Sadat’s “Statement to the Knesset” (1977) and Paul Keating’s “Funeral Service for the Unknown Soldier” (1993). It is indeed the rhetorical treatment of the widely debated values in these speeches- whether it be for peace between two nations or simply the need for a stronger sense of national identity- that makes both these texts so influential in their enduring appeal.…

There have been many events in the course of history that had changed and shaped America to make it what it is today. The Revolutionary War freed us from Great Britain, with World War II there came the creation of the atomic bomb, and the Great Depression made banking regulations more strict. Point in being is that there have been many events that shaped the U.S.. I believe that one of the most significant events in U.S. History is 9/11, which largely influenced our society because it caused us to go to war with Afghanistan for 11 years, huge economy impacts, and the U.S. no longer feels invulnerable because of it.…

New York City is one of the most populated cities in the world. The terrorist attack of September 11th in 2001 affected the whole city, shutting down transportation, affecting business revenue, police and the public’s safety. The emotions of New Yorkers were horrified. This was one of three terrorists attacks that impacted America on that day, but also not the first terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. That morning of 9/11 was a regular day in New York City; children were on their way to school and adults were going to work. The weather was clear, the skies were blue and the temperature was in the 70’s. No one expected something so devastating to occur on such a beautiful autumn morning. September 11th affected New York negatively and recently it has affected the city positively with more growth to the city’s businesses and tourism activity.…
