In Hong Kong traditional culture, Chinese restaurant represent our
traditional food culture. In the past, Hong Kong people usually be
accustomed to go to restaurant to eat Dim Sum and also chat with the
family. However, in the new generation this traditional food culture is
progressively go downhill. Because it is not just a type of our traditional
culture,it also influence Hong Kong people daily life and it is our collective
Our group chose this topic because we really want to make
people pay more attention in this traditional culture.In restaurant,there are
usually have tea,dim sum, Chinese dishes and dessert. But following the
import of foreign culture, these kinds of food will have come changes.
Through looking at our flash product and written report , we hope that they
also can know more about it.
As this report mentioned before, traditional Chinese restaurant is a type
of traditional culture in Hong Kong. Besides, foreign food
progressively import to Hong Kong and it influence our food culture. Because of
this, the youth in Hong Kong are not interest in food culture.So, our group’s
objective is to provide more information to the target audience, by using an attractive way to know more about our local traditional food culture.In this project,we willintroduce how the restaurant culture have changed in tea,dim sum, Chinese dishes and dessert four aspect.
Our target audience is post 90s. As these youth in Hong Kong influence much by foreign culture,so they usually do not very familiar with the Hong Kong local traditional culture. Therefore,our group are decided to set them as our target audience and try to make use of the flash in order to make them pay more attention on our traditional culture.
As we know, hong kong is food paradise and highlight tourism area. Most of the foreigner want to come to Honk Kong to travel and eat different kinds of delicious food. In addition, they like to know more about our culture, especially food culture. Therefore, we would like to introduce to them through our project.
Project time schedule
We started to plan the theme on lecture 2 and firmed the theme in consultation on lecture 4.After we divided works on individual part to find out how dim sum ,tea,Chinese dishes and dessert in tea house have changed.We handed in our individual part on 5th April.After we handed in our individual work,We had 4 meetings to discuss the written report and rehearsal the presentation.
We all have thrown some ideas and suggestion in this project.All members tried very hand to find out the information and do the analysis in the project.
