Although there is no exact solution to stop illegal immigration, there are some ideas and ways to contain it. No matter how many barriers you put up, people will always find a way to get around them. People who are in desperate need of a better life are willing to risk everything they have to just hopefully get that once chance of success. Even if the punishment for getting caught was death, people will take that chance because they believe they can make it. With no definite way of stopping the immigrants from crossing the border, one possible solution would be to get a better and stronger border patrol. The border patrol officers have a job, to stop the people trying to cross the border illegally. Obviously

    In this paper I will use the ethical theories of utilitarianism and deontology, as well as the perspective of ethical egoism, as they pertain to the issue of immigration.
