At first, it was all about in our home. My mom usually takes orders at me like cleaning my room, doing the dishes, and also doing some other choirs. And because of my laziness, I usually do every day is texting, surfing in mylaptop, watching TV, and also playing computer games especially in my Tab. I always forgot what my mom told me to do, so I just keep that in my mind, but the problem is I always say to myself that I’m just going to do it later. Or let’s just say it’s Mañana Habit. Sometimes, I let my older brother do all the task that I’ve gave to him even though he didn’t noticed that was our mother’s task to me. I always trick my brother when it comes to choirs. I always don’t want to clean the house because, every time we went home in Bulacan, Me and my brother, always sweeping on the floor. And later, there’s already a dust. Even though we wet the floor still, it would always have a dust. That’s the reason why I gave up cleaning the house and doing another choirs. Sometimes, if I have a mood in cleaning I would probably go outside, clean, take all my dogs and bath them. But the best thing I ever did in my entire life when it comes to doing the choirs is that, I always water the plants and let it clean and green. I enjoyed watering plants than sweeping the floor. But of course I have to get rid my Mañana Habit and being

My family is my biggest distraction. All of their tasks and activities come before mine, and always have. I also love to help other people, and I say yes to everyone and everything. It’s exhausting sometimes, and even though I realize that I shouldn’t say yes to everyone all the time, I still do. Then I struggle with completing “MY” tasks that must get done either for work, school, or church. I procrastinate, and find myself in a tailspin at the end of the week or just before a deadline. I hate that I do it, and say to myself all the time that I will never do this again, and the next week or month it happens again.…

In some ways that I procrastinate is doing the dishes or doing my homework or doing chores, pretty much anything that involves me getting up and doing something. I believe I procrastinate like once in awhile, for an example my mom asked me to do the dishes at 3:00 in the afternoon I would do it around 3:10, it may seem like I am lazy but i really am not, I mean what teenager wants to wash the dishes. the only time I don’t procrastinate is when I want something, i’m pretty sure every teenager does this. Like take me for an example, my best friend in the whole wide world’s birthday is coming up and she asked my best friends and me if we can go so for that being I don’t hesitate on washing the dishes or vacuuming or doing my homework - nope - I would do what every average teen would do .. I don’t procrastinate. What I blame my procrastination is for…

Looking at my behavioral habits through that definition explains a lot of how I have been raised. During my childhood, cleaning and becoming more organized is everything that I really knew. Having that habit engrained into my way of living for the majority of my life, makes it hard to see me living in another way. In consideration of my analysis on my cleaning habits that were formed from my parents I would find that there is no reason to develop a plan to make or change my habit. The habit of cleaning has made me more organized and structured, which is helping me teach my children how to be clean and responsible young people. Cleanliness is close to Godliness is a saying I have always heard. TO me it means that become a clean, and organized person leads to less stress in ones life. This also help the individual to remain aware of where his or her belongings are places as well as responsibility to take care of individualistic…

However, that week I had just gotten the results of my anatomy exam, and after seeing the grade I got I knew something had to change. My parents have high expectations for me that sometimes I feel like I cannot meet. Failure is not an option in their eyes, as many other parents. They expect me to work hard to achieve their expectations and to get what I want in life. Sometimes, I’m excited at first to work to get what I want. For example, in “One Last Time”, the author says “When we arrived I was frisky and ready to go…” (Soto). When work first started for him, he was excited and ready to learn new skills in order to be successful. I can relate to this because every time I try something new, I’m excited to do it at first but then farther down the line, once I’ve been doing it for a while, it just becomes routine and boring to me and my parents expect me to keep…

We all go through it, there is too much to do and not enough time to do it. Our days are like this more often than not. I’m a single mother of two young boys; I always find myself picking up someone from one event and taking them to somewhere else. Life is a constant challenge to be one-and-a-half places at once, doing two or three things at once. As I go through my day I find myself doing two or three things at a time, multitasking, as I believe as they refer to it, often with the use of some type of technology I have: my IPod, phone, or mini laptop with me all the time. When I work out, I keep an eye on my crawling infant son, as I use the DVD player and talk to his dad on the IPod. Other times I cook dinner, while helping my other son with his homework, and maybe check an email or two, and look up a recipe…well that about sums up the idea hectic life style for most people. What I’m actually doing is a series of tasks one at a time and switching constantly between them. The problem with serial tasking is that it leads to lower quality and less productivity. The rice came out a little overcooked, I think I might have sent the wrong email to the wrong person, and we’re still working on the homework. If concentrating on one thing at a time, I would have had a better chance to do more tasks correctly.…

If I had more time to do this I would change my defining moment. My defining moment would probably meeting my boyfriend. Meeting my boyfriend was a big impact in my life. He was the person that was there for me at my lowest point and my highest point in life. So before we met, I’m slack in school and turn in most of my homework/assignments late. I procrastinate a lot and not do it as good. After we meet he was my motivation for school. He would tell me to do good in school and always do my homework ahead of time. He even encourage me to do my homework even though I felt sleepy or lazy. Another thing is that he would always check up on me. For example, he would ask me “how’s your grades in school?” and this makes me feel like he really cares…
