If I Could Go Back To The Year Analysis
Froom, Boom, Shake. 2017 was my favorite year, since I not only met great teachers, wonderful friends, but also enjoyed victories of my basketball, soccer teams and progress in my swimming team. Unfortunately, I have to leave them and come to VA. If I could go back to 2017 and re-enjoy these wonderful moments. I would go back to see these wonderful moments again.

If I could go to the year 2017, the first thing is going back to school. I want to go back to see all my teachers, beautiful music of the orchestra, and my bus friends. First, I want to visit my excellent fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Katerman, since she helped me a lot using her time to help me catch-up when I was sick. In addition, she always trusted me. For example, when the

I have met a lot of friends from my peaceful neighborhood, noisy school, and the swimming pool. The first person who I would want to see is my friend Nick. Nick is the neighbor across the street, and we used to play tag together. He not only played with me, but also supported me when I was sick and when I needed help with my homework. Secondly, I want to see Jason again. He helped me when we were in the gym playing basketball or even in class studying for spelling tests. Finally. I would want to go to the pool again. The pool is one of the most interactive and fun places I went with my friends. The friend that I went most with is Joey. He helped improve my swimming skills and best of all we went to the pool every Sunday. Surely, Nick, Jason, and Joey are the people I would want to see …show more content…
I would want to see the fast paced soccer, dribbling basketball, and the wet swimming team. Firstly, I would go back to the moment where I was playing soccer. I would go back to the time when there were only ten seconds on the clock and the game was a tie. At the five second line I kicked the ball and I scored the winning goal for my team. This is the time I will never forget, since I felt confidence shooting a last second. The next activity I would want to go to is basketball. In the 2017 basketball championship final game, we were down by one point, and there were five seconds on the clock. We had to shoot a two pointer to win. After we shot, the buzzer sounded and the ball went in. The final activity I would want to go back to my swimming team. 2017, was special because it was the year I had improved a lot in swimming. When I first joined the team, my speed was not fast at all, but, by the end of the season not only did I learn more, such as diving, but my speed also improved by thirty seconds. Without a doubt, last year, the sport teams for soccer, basketball, and swimming were unforgettable.

“You realize that our mistrust of the future makes it hard to give up the past.” If I could go back to anytime in the past, I would go to 2017 because of the excellent teachers, friends, and winning sport teams. I wish I could go repeat the moments with my best teachers, friends, and sport teams I had could ever

Like any formal writing, the beginning is equally important as the end. In order to appreciate the present, the past needs to be understood. Knowing the journey of where I grew up from the beginning to present day is amazing. It’s hard to believe there was a time in my hometown, Iron Mountain, Michigan, where electricity didn’t exist nor did the everyday tools we now take for granted. I often wonder what the city looked like to my grandparents and their family before them.…

Out of the many poems that we have and have not learnt in English, the two that I would choose for year 7 next year, are, ‘The Lesson’ By Roger McGough and ‘The Man From Snowy River’ by Banjo Patterson. Both poems are enjoyable to read and great for year sevens next year. Each poem also has advanced techniques used to display numerous meanings of the poems.…

Whether college matters to people or not, the purpose of college is to prepare students of their career and in all areas of life. Liz Addison is known for her essay published on “New York Times” in two thousand and seven called, “Two Years Are Better Than Four”, which it became a runner up for an essay contest. “Two Years Are Better Than Four” is a response to Rick Perlstein’s essay “What’s the Matter with College?”. Perlstein’s argument in “What’s the Matter with College?” is that college don’t matter and that it ends in America, but Addison opposed the statements elaborating on how college isn’t going anywhere and that it matters for the future. Addison is a writer who graduated in community college of Southern Maine and Piedmont Virginia…

Perhaps, in the following essay I put a quart into a pint pot, because I intend to puzzle out, or rather, find and give a deeper insight into Walt Whitman's sexuality that is still a question on agenda. There are readers and critics who state that it is a shame to humble his poetry to this level, but I think that he was homosexual in his era the topic cannot be left untouched, because therefore this factor was very influential on his everyday life, thinking and hence on his poetry, too.…

The chance to go back and hang my arms from a tree, sit in an elementary class, deciding whether or not to sign up for the talent show, or audition for the high school play. That compared to writing a sixty-page thesis, watching my best friend’s casket being lowered into the ground, or diagnosed with stage four cancer followed with Major Depression. The two compare quite drastically, as it is looked upon that our younger years, full of pureness and perfect simplicity, are sought upon to be relived. Though the future has many blessings and beauties, it also holds the knowledge of good and evil, the fall of man displayed for all to see.…

Last year had to by far be the toughest year for me in high school. I grew away from many people that I considered some of my closest friends. I also suffered academically because I began to spend less time doing work and being focused on less important things. I got caught up in unnecessary drama, went on my first college visits, and met new people in the matter of one year. Not only did I grow as a person, I grew as an athlete, I grew as a sibling, and I grew as a young woman. My junior year allowed me to develop my expectations for myself in life and my expectations for the people who I choose to surround myself with. This was the year that I decided who I would want to become in the future.…

When you look at the future, where do you see yourself? Because we can't tell where we are going. Only that it's that way, and we can't go back. But we can look back. We'll still remember everything we did here. All the friends we've made, the things we've done. Everything. And we will carry all of that through our lives. We can look back on the days where we have just sat on the grass in the sun, talking to our friends. Having the strangest conversations that even today don’t make sense. Three years we've spent at the same school, walking the same halls. Three years worth of new friends, new faces, and new people. New people that have become my best friends. And with those people we have had experiences that we will never forget. We will remember all the places we’ve sat at and the conversations we've had there.…

The final year of high school has now come. When my parents told me that high school would fly by, they weren’t kidding. Although it really did fly by, I have enough memories to last a lifetime.…
