Take, for example, Internet smooths out our business by providing means of communication which shorten the distance. In this way, Internet has significantly brought a lot of positive changes to our life. However, some people suggest that we should be more aware of social interation which is one of the effects caused by overusing Internet. A recent study illustrates the fact that the time people use the Internet is in inverse proportion to the time they spend with real human beings. Spending too much time on the Internet mislead us about the role of social interation. We may feel satisfied with the virtual world on the Internet and become neglectful with the real world. Similarly, excessive use of social webpage or blog can worsen our communication skill. In general, Internet is an amazing success of human development, which has provided people such a large amount of benefits. Conversely, there are some obvious problems that we need to handle with. Hopefully, Internet will be more developed to fit the world’s need and reduce the dark sides.
