The terrorist’s activity in this world has grown over the past few years becoming more violent and gruesome. The terrorist group known as ISIS, or the Islamic state of Iraq and Syria, has become the new face of evil in this war. They are on a mission to exterminate anyone from any other religion or anyone who has different beliefs and to uphold the Sharia law, know as the Islamic law. The birth of ISIS came from the chaos of the civil war in Syria, which began in 2011 when an uprising began against the Syrian President Assad (CNN). ISIS was sent to Syria for recruiting purposes to network and expand. Since ISIS was backed by Al-Qaeda they grew quickly into a large force capable of destruction. He is also known as Jihadi John and he has been somewhat the face of the organization being shown executing many people in the most gruesome and horrific ways possible. A military video shows a man believed to be Mohammed Emwazi entering a vehicle which was then hit by a drone’s hellfire missile obliterating the target. The Paris attack was the first coordinated attack by ISIS in Europe, and I believe is part of a shift in the group’s strategy to target its enemies. They have also manipulated people here in the U.S. supposedly like the people involved in the San Bernardino shooting and the Orlando night club shooting. In both attacks they pledge allegiance to ISIS, but their was no evidences tieing them to the group. The group’s aslo claim for the downing of a Russian commercial airliner seems to be further implying that the group is becoming more and more aggressive in nature, thus we need to act now before these acts of terror reach our
