I Want To Be A Paramedic

My education will benefit the community with any decision I'll make as a part of my career goals. Currently, I am undecided with my college major. I am interested in Secondary Education in the mathematics field, Paramedic Programs, and getting my Emergency Medical Technician basics. I am extremely passionate when it comes to helping others. I have had experiences with all these professions, including being a math tutor for my peers after school, and have participated in the Clark County Fire Department Explorer Program, a paramilitary organization, where I have had an amazing experience training with actual firefighters. If I was to become an educator in the future, I will not only apply my personal experiences but will contribute to future generations. As a math tutor, I do much more than just help my peers comprehend math problems. I also assist them with their long term goals and set them on the right path by showing them
What I have learned so far as being an Explorer means learning what was covered about fire ground skills, academic studies, team building exercises, and if I committed long enough, I could eventually go and ride along. Actually learning about what actions firefighters take and did more than shadowed, but also interacted and exercised maneuvers, will be useful in a life of a firefighter and skills of a paramedic. I will utilize these valuable experience and hold onto them until I can apply it for when I pursue a career in Fire Sciences, in any career field, worthy of preservation. Withdrawing from the program, a month into the new year of school, was not my pleasure because I was losing an advantage and was no longer able to receive any more benefits without the program. I am excited to say I am soon to rejoin the Explorers Program to achieve the path of helping others. I decided to set my priorities straight and make school my primary
