Soccer is often called “The Beautiful Game.” It is an incredible sport that brings together people of all different religions, races, and cultures. However, when one begins to discuss the politics of soccer, it can be anything but beautiful and incredible. There is a major salary gap between men and women soccer players. This gap is a more prevalent problem today because the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) is bringing in more revenue than the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT). The USWNT has also had a more successful career, winning the majority of their games within the last year. These points and other factors prove that they USWNT deserves more monetary recognition.…

"in the course of a lifetime, what does it matter?" take a minute to ask yourself that question and ponder on its meaning. What comes to mind? Will sports matter? Will how you treat people matter? Many of the things that we do in our lives will never truly matter in the course of our lifetime. Prudence acts as if her cheerleading tryouts matter in the course of her lifetime, but they really aren't very significant. Sports like this don't seem to matter. In your entire lifetime, it doesn't seem very logical that you would specifically remember sports, and it won't make much of a difference as you develop and grow. In the modern world, many things don't matter in the course of a full lifetime, but they are treated that way. For example, lots…

hope that I was able to successfully accomplish in your mind what I set out to do by writing and publishing this book. If I did, I suspect that you’ll never look at religion, politics, and football the same way again. Though they’ve been referred to in this book as bitter rivals, these three (3) things, if we approach them with respect (worthy opponents), thoughtfulness (strategic game planning), and care (attention to details), can bring out the very best (execution and performance) in us and how we conduct ourselves against them (each other).…

Sports have come a long way since basketball was played with milk crates and flat balls in the alleys of the poor and rich alike. One may ask, why should I be concerned with the senseless sweating and hours of practice of those who enjoy sports? The answer is one that will open your eyes to the fulfillment sports can bring whether recreational or competitive. Sport activities offer a variety of lifelong qualities and provide those who participate a sense of happiness like no other. Jennie Yabroff the author of “In Defense of Cheering”sheds light to her audience on why Cheering should be taken as seriously as any other sport. In contrast Felisa Rogers the author of “How I Learned to Love Football” tells a story of how she once despised the great American game of football to how she grew ecstatic about its very nature. Both women have admiration for their respective sports and want to encourage others to share their love of sports through their use of ethos and pathos, with pathos being more effective.…

In sport, specialization is key to an athlete who desires to excel in their preferred sport. Yet on the other hand, when an athlete chooses to specialize they sacrifice the risk of injury, psychological burnout, and the idea is it truly worth it to specialize. By definition sports specialization is when an athlete devotes at least eight months of the year training, and only participates in the given sport as well as they would’ve started at a younger age. I Like A Movie Analysis

Overall I did like this movie, it had some dull moments because of the repeated concepts, but it was still really good. For instance, it seemed to drag on, he hadn’t even gotten into the toy store until about half the movie was done. It also had a lot of predictable moments. For example, in the middle of the movie, it had shown Josh and Susie having fun and what she was pushing for. It was made into a serious matter early on in the movie when she had actually enjoyed the date compared to others she might have had. It was pretty obvious they would end up being in a relationship and that she would also bring him more into the adult world than Josh had wanted. Her intentions were clear in the beginning when she had mistaken him for inviting her…

My favourite sport is tennis. Tennis is a sport in what each player uses a racket that is strung to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over a net into the opponent's court. I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old because my parents enrolled me in a course. Firstly I didn’t like it a lot because I didn’t hit the ball since the racket was very huge for me. But along the years I have improve a lot and now I love it. I don’t have much time because I have a lot of exams but I try to get some time always because to play tennis is a good way for getting rid of stress.…
