I Love Music Analysis

When I went outside, I was running, and I didn’t feel anything. But then I ran again, but this time I was listening to music, and I felt very calm and happy. Some of the lyrics of the song that I was listening are: “Because I’m happy, happy, happy”
I think that some music talks about me, because when I feel bad the music that I hear talks about sad or bad things about life. And when I’m happy, I hear to happy songs or very excited songs that makes me feel good. Some of the lyrics of the songs that I hear when I’m sad are: “A girl committed suicide, after she was bully at school”

Dick Clark once said, ¨Music is the soundtrack of your life.¨ Music is one of the most powerful and influential things in my life. Without the melodies and harmonies of music, my life would feel bland and meaningless. I have a very busy schedule and sometimes it is too easy to lose meaning in my everyday tasks, but with music I am able to keep meaning in my life. I use music to get me through the activities of my everyday life. Whether it is cleaning my room, doing homework, or just relaxing, music makes everything better. I think that music can convey feelings and emotions extraordinarily well. When words cannot do the job, music can. Along with that, I think that music accompanies memories very well also. Going back to Dick Clark’s quote, I think I would be able to make a timeline of my life just using song titles, albums, and…

When there are no words to say, music helps express feelings. There’s always a song that a person can relate to. Each song has a distinct message to it that differentiates it from others. The lyrics of a song are what allow the listener to make a connection with the artist and song. What does music mean to you? Has music helped you through a difficult situation? Everybody handles things in different ways. In my life, music has always served two purposes: it keeps me busy while working on either homework or any task and it allows me to let go of feelings I have been harboring. Music is separated into different genres, based on the unique composition, style, and content. The song I have picked that relates to Aristotle’s three appeals, logos, pathos, and ethos, is “Say Something” by A Great Big World. Everyone tries to be independent and they have their own taste of music and preference, what they listen to everyday.…
