I Love Alaska Research Paper
I chose to do Alaska because I wanted to do something new that I never learned about. Alaska has a very cold climate with a lot of snow and other and I liked that they have glaciers. They have one of the biggest mountains and one of the biggest rivers in the world. And the unique things you can do in Alaska like whale watching and glacier tours and other mountain tours. Alaska is known for bad road conditions, earthquakes, and volcanoes.

The coolest landmarks and attractions would be the glaciers and the rivers, along with mountains. Mount Mckinley/Denali is the biggest in North AMerica at 20,322ft and 3rd in the world. Another landmark is a big santa claus the biggest in the world 48ft tall and 33ft wide. Mount Adagdak is a stratovolcano having a older shell from a volcano and can erupt anytime today.

Famous Person-

Mario Chalmers was born in Anchorage and now 29 years old. He plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, and is 6ft 2in. His salary for each season is $4,000,000 and averages 10 points per game. Memphis Grizzlies are located in Memphis, Tennessee and in a very talented western conference in 5th place behind the Clippers (30-16), Thunder (35-13), Spurs (39-7), and the Warriors (42-4). Memphis always makes it to the NBA Playoffs as the lowest seed and plays the number #1 from the west and the Grizzlies never won a championship.

Conclusion-

I learned a lot about Alaska and the big mountains and the big rivers in Alaska. I know the state capital and the biggest cities in Alaska and other landmarks. The best part is that they have some unique mountains especially Denali/Mount Mckinley or the many glaciers. Alaska gets the most snow per year than any state in the USA, the highest amount is in Valdez,Alaska at 326.03in per year. I learned also that their wasn’t a Professional
