I Chose Nursing Scholarship

Nursing is a unique carrier that involves taking care of people and becoming their advocate. I am privileged to call myself a nurse. When I got a AS Nursing degree, I knew that would continue my education at the appropriate time in my life. I have two main reasons why I would like to go back to school. The first reason is that I like to learn and advance my education. I feel the need to learn new information because there is always something new that I do not know about. In addition to that, since I was a child, I had a dream that one day I would make my father very proud of me. I wanted to become an educated woman, have a meaningful career, and have a purpose in my life. Getting a nursing degree helped me achieve parts of my childhood goals. The second and the most important reason for going back to school is that my BSN is going to serve as an important bridge to my Master's degree. I am hoping that the knowledge and skills that I will acquire in the RN to BSN program will help guide my future practice. I am excited to learn more
