I Appreciate The Veterans
I appreciate the veterans because when the wounded workers come home the veterans come to help all the way until they workers feel better throughout their surgery and rehab. The veterans do very good things like fundraise, do campains, and collect money. The veterans have a lot of American pride for the country and the us armed forces. They are the best people associated with the army.
The past veterans risked their lives for the United States Of America which is an amazing thing to do. The veterans do what others couldn't do in a lifetime like go behind enemy lines, jump out of a plain, shoot a gun and finally go go to war. Veterans fought for the freedom of our country. I also appreciate them because they were willing to serve our country.

The sacrifices are going far away from family and friends, and their life is war. But they did what they had to do like protect, serve and a lot more. Thats why veterans are special. One of the disorders that wearers can get is [PTSD] after war.
We should appreciate the veterans. Every day on duty, their lives are at risk. They get assigned to foreign countries and fight alongside or against total strangers. From hunting down terrorists to maintaining peace and order, there is not a moment when their lives are not in danger. Most of the time, they don’t get their names on the paper or their pictures on TV. Yet more than anyone these men and women manage to keep the peace. If there is only one reason why we should honor veterans, it’s for this one. Just take a moment to recognize that they fought for our country. The things I know about veterans was the history, the mission to Kuwait, The veterans trained stands for land, water, air and special ops. they train and they pick the best of the best. They have 13 weeks of training. the average amount of weight they carry on their back is about 100-150 pounds. They also go on secret missions behind enemy lines and they also put their own lives in danger for owed country. The veterans are the most complex group in the armed forces. That is the veterans. I apperetiat them because they risce there live for us so we have

It is important to keep honoring our veterans because they have sacrificed so much for this country. Also we honor them because we need to tell them how appreciative we are of their dutiful service to our country. Even the president honors our veterans. Each year the president or one of his representatives lays a wreath on The Tomb of The Unknown Soldiers in the Arlington Cemetery every Veterans Day to honor those veterans. Even though the first unknown soldier was laid to rest there on Armistice day on the year of 1921 this ceremony still continues. This is one way that shows just how important honoring our veterans…

In the span of our existence, humans have always seen soldiers and war veterans as higher than man. Though this is evident in our culture today, we have also realized that those who return come back in different forms. A war veteran is seen as someone with endless amount of courage and infinite power of will. We see it all the time whether it’s a picture, television ad displaying a soldier standing tall and holding their country’s flag proudly, or it’s the iconic picture taken in Iwo Jima (if you don’t know which one that is, it is the one of all the soldiers lifting the American flag on top of a hill). These representations are about pride, honor, courage, and everything great about the United States.…

They gave their lives so we are able to live ours without having to fight as they did. They made it possible for our country to live with freedom and liberated from others. While many Americans often forget this, we should still live under the influence of their sacrifices and should respect their efforts each day. For example, many Americans refuse to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, something that is important to our nation and the people. I believe it is our duty as Americans to respect and honor the people who fought for our country, the people who left their lives behind to fight for our cause not just for their own.…

Veterans Day is the day that we set aside to honor those who serve, but one day does not cover all the bloodshed. The day is not enough to show the appreciation which is due to the countless number of heroic men and woman. The American people should do more to show how much they appreciate their duty. Veterans make me be proud to be in a country were people would sacrifice themselves to keep our freedom and other rights that we take advantage of everyday.…

It is very important to keep honoring our veterans because if they didn’t fight for our country we would still be ruled by England or any other country that tried to fight us. Veterans play a big role in shaping our country and it is our job to recognize that. It takes a lot of tears and heartbreak to end a war, like WWI that ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, and those who survived and died are worthy of the recognition. If you have never talked to a veteran about their experiences in war, try it sometime and you might see how valuable they were in the making of the U.S. I think that it was smart that Dwight D. Eisenhower changed it from Armistice Day to Veterans Day because like I said it is very important to keep…

When organizing the Veterans assembly I would have never thought that so many veterans and community members would be so greatly impacted. While the assembly was taking place there where many Veterans who cried throughout the event, the impact this activity had on them was that we showed them how thankful we are for the things that they did for us even when they did not know us. This impacted them because it showed them that they are people who we are thankful for because without them our country would not be the great place it is today. This activity made them see that all of their hard work and suffering was worth it, and that future generations are willing to give them the respect that they deserve.…

So, this why we have Veterans Day, why . If you’re having trouble figuring out how to do this, here is how you could show your thanks: Fly the Flag; encourage your neighbors, family, and friends to proudly fly “Old Glory” on their porch; or visit a VA Hospital. Just drop by your local VA hospital and play a game of cards or just be a caring listener. It will mean so much to them. Or you even could simply walk up to a veteran and say…

Whenever seeing an ‘old’ veteran with a Vietnam War or World War ll you say thank you because they are why we are here today. Without veterans over seas fighting we won't have the freedom we have today. Therefore seeing them we must thank them. Additionally, the down side of thanking them is we don’t think of the other side of saying thank you. If a Veteran has seen many lives die he/she doesn’t want to be reminded about that- and saying thanks does that most of the times. To conclude, saying thanks to a Veteran is a natural…

First i’d like to start with a quote from A politician from Florida the words of Jeff Miller. “The willingness of America's veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude.” When he says this I believe that he is trying to explain that There isn't a veteran that hasn't made a life changing decision to defend support and rescue all of us as a unified country and that does’t deserve our utmost respect and compassion.…

The root of the problem is fundamentally the system which has no foundation for exiting the military, where on the other hand all types of efforts and bonuses are given upon being recruited when entering the military. When one is classified as a Veteran, they have usually lived a life that was based on; orders, structure, hard work, cleanliness, timeliness, resiliency, and being very attentive and keeping their “wits” about them at all times. After being removed from this structured life where one is completely dependent on the government for everything and usually works in a unit or group situation, to a life where one is completely independent and has to relearn how to function without the aid of any government institutions can be a very difficult experience for many. This can physically and more so mentally cause great anguish for many. Many veterans have no idea of where to turn or where they can go. The process for finding out what is available to them is no easy task. Also depending whether the Veteran had been oversees, injured, or had seen any form of combat can play a big part of…

Veterans are an important part of our nation and do not get the credit that they deserve. Veterans have risked their lives for this country countless times, yet they go unappreciated a lot of times. From a personal stance, my grandfather is a retired veteran himself and he fought in the Vietnam War. If my grandfather had not been able to get on his feet from retiring from the Navy, I would hope that there would be some type of support system for him. A lot of veterans today do not have the support system that they had when they were in the service. Once the veterans are out of the service their lives are not structured while in the service they were organized and controlled.…
