The snow and wind from a blizzard can cause roadblocks and traffic. Blizzards can cause whiteouts, which makes it hard to see in the snow and can also cause power outages from the snow and wind disabling the power stations. Staying out in a blizzard can result in a frostbite or hypothermia. Hypothermia is when one has an abnormally low body temperature, typically one that is dangerously low.
