Jordan arrived to 100 E. Lancaster ave and greeted staff. Jordan was prompted to get dressed and did so independently. Jordan went to 318 and began his meal prep. Staff assisted that Jordan with preparing his meal, using a light physical guidance while Jordan poured his milk. Jordan consumed his meal and then was prompted to clean up. Jordan practiced some morning hygiene, by brushing his teeth. Jordan used his electric tooth brush to brush his teeth. He needed a few prompts to stay on task and other prompts to turn his brush in order to target specific areas. Jordan moved on to shaving with his electric razor. Jordan was able to follow his sequence targeting each area. Jordan was assisted with identifying his chin but did well locating all …show more content…
Jordan navigated into the local ACME, and obtained a cart. Jordan had 1 item to obtain on his list and was able to locate the correct isle and food, but needed assistance locating a specific brand. Jordan was prompted to locate and open line through which he needed some guidance with navigating. Jordan loaded the belt with his item and paid for it by swiping his card. Jordan returned to 318 Washington and prompted to begin his meal prep. Staff read the directions to Jordan and assisted him with using the microwave. Jordan quickly consumed his meal and then cleaned up his area before packing his bag for the gym. Jordan was able to pack everything needed for the gym except his towel. Before leaving, Jordan took his medication while staff monitored for safety. Jordan went to the YMCA and reciprocated greeting with the receptionist upon arrival. Jordan got dressed in the locker room and then navigated to the fitness area. Jordan located his machine but needed light guidance to navigate the settings on it. Jordan had some frequent stops in order to gain staffs attention. Jordan was redirected back to his workout after each stop. When engaged in his workout and exhibiting appropriate behavior, Jordan was praised and provided edible reinforcements. Jordan returned to the locker room to take his shower.     During the 1800’s the overall health of the public was extremely poor, children and babies were dying in their thousands, and adults would work in the most horrific of conditions. Families of 8 or 9 would live in 1 room where they all slept, ate and washed if they had the water to, the sewage was all over the place as there was no proper sewage lines, People had to bath in the same water they urinated in, they also had to drink this dirty water as it was the only water they had access to. The working conditions were even worse as some people had to work in bare feet when there was sewage covering their toes, there was no health and safety regulation acts so people would have accidents every day and they would breathe in the most dangerous chemicals while working in large factories such as the cotton factory. Children as young as 8 were in work to earn clothes and food for themselves and to have a bed to sleep in at night instead of the waste covered floor. Most families were sent to a work house where they worked 12-14 hour shifts in order to gain clothes, food and a bed to sleep in for the night. The families would be separated into men, women and children and they would work in different areas of the factory doing different jobs such as splitting ropes or breaking rocks, while living in the workhouse each family that were separated would have no access to their family members and birthdays weren’t even thought about because no births and deaths were recorded so the mothers and fathers would forget when they had their child and the child would be too young to know the date of its birthday. Most people would have died in the workhouse because they would be worked hard every day and some people would have accidents with the machinery and as there was no medical services the people would die of loss of blood or their wounds would get infected and they would have died of an infectious disease.
