Hurricane Mathew Research Paper
’The Plan’’
Helping displaced people was the main focus for the past week. People all the way from savannah labeled as ‘’evacuee’s’’ came to Augusta looking for shelter. Some people were prepared, and some were not, there were even a few people who came with absolutely nothing but the clothes on their back, and just the values that were in their pockets and cars.
As we all know hurricane Mathew has had a huge impact on southern states of the U.S. It was defined to be a category 3 storm, sink holes were formed, trees were pulled from their roots, tore down houses, and killed many people. You could say Matthew led to a path of devastation, sadness, havoc, destruction, demolition, whatever word you want to use for this rude awaking.

Should bring blankets and pillows just in case the evacuees get cold or want to take a nap. Nonperishable foods like pudding, granola bars, fruit cups and all of that for when they want a snack. Baby supplies like milk or diapers for the newborns or kids, and some clothes for the homeless.
Now, with that said, I would like to start a group for situations like this. I would try my best to partner up with red cross just in case an individual needs help, injured, or extremely ill. It would be best to create a checklist of casualties, and last, locate the evacuees in a secure safe location and man the phone. I will be the leader of this organization and we will do everything here in August, the 706, at Lucy Craft Laney High school on the boulevard.
I think this would be the best way to go for situations like this, we aren’t asking for much. We just want to help the people and take a step into making the world a better place. Are you with me? If you are, then let’s take charge and do what we have to do to make these people feel welcomed and show them lots of love and affection. At times like this we don’t need any negativity, no let downs, no spirit crushers, or any of that nonsense. I highly approve this plan that I have come up with, just think about it, if we get this plan approved by someone who is very important then it will help prepare us for these type of
