Humorous Wedding Speech: The Annex
Ok. I have had to resort to some things that I don't think I will love, but it is for the good of my children. I have decided to go into hiding along with my family. The hiding place is the annex in the building of my buisness, Otto Frank’s. The annex will be fairly large enough for my family . I am not quite done with everything yet but i expect to be at the end of the week. Only thing is i'm going to need help setting up the annex, but now i realize that i might need to turn to Mr. Van Daan for help.He is a business associate of mine. It's going to be a tight fit with both him and our families but i want my children to be secure.

I hope you have good news. (he says with suspicion)” “Well not quite. Not at all actually. I am going into hiding.” “That's very sudden of you Mr.Frank.” “Yes, but this is necessary information for you to know because I need your help to set up our hiding place.” “Where do you even plan to hide? How will you get food and water? How secure is the area? Its the answers to these questions that can either make us safe or put us in an amount of danger that I am most certainly not prepared for.” “The plan is to hide in the annex at the building.” “The Otto Frank's building? Out back?” “Yes. I also need help loading in the furniture in there which is why i need your help” “I really don't want to take this risk but It certainly seems better then getting sent to a concentration camp” “Exactly my point Mr.Van Daan” “Also, if I help you with this , you must allow me and my family and I to also go into hiding” “Why of course. Only thing is you have to understand. The annex will be quite a tight fit with both you and your family depending on how many people are in your family” “Just me, My wife and my son….along with his cat” “ His cat?. I think i'm just going to ignore that proposition. “Understood” So we continued the plan for awhile. We lived our lives”regularly”

You will see by the date of my letter, that our quarters are changed. We came to Indianapolis last Tuesday and were walked without a moment's delay to Camp Carrington where ae are presently digs in. We have wonderful quarters here, everything is agreeable and masterminded helpful and methodicallly. The camp here looks to some degree military, other than we have disipline. The young men are somewhat sad they can't have such simple times as they had at Camp Lindsay. They don't care to have the rules drawn so firmly at the same time.…

I am contacting you to inform you of some issues that have I have been concerned with when it comes to Kami and her performance on the JV cheer team. First and foremost, I just want to let you know that it has been a pleasure working with Kami on our team. Kami brings a very energetic and infectious vibe to our team. She has grown tremendously as an individual and as an athlete. However, lately, it is that same energetic and infectious behavior that has become a distraction for the team, especially during our practices. Today, Kami and her team had to run three laps because she was laughing and talking during stunts. As you know as a longtime cheer parent, stunting is a time that has to be taken seriously, otherwise there is the potential for…

The author uses skepticism to create a considerate and entertaining letter. In line 25, speaker describes the living area as “... a canister poured all over you, your bed, your clothing, and your personal effects.” This sentence provides a realistic example that could connect the reader to the author's’ experiences, and also creates an interesting sense of humor. Although the reader never visits the army camps in Iraq, they can feel and sense the tough settings of soldiers serving in the camps. When the author states, “ Tear down the three walls… You have as much privacy as I have” (11), the reader can sense the emotions expressed by the author towards the harsh circumstances. These techniques using language defines the letter and gives the readers the ability to understand the author’s…

My ancestors came in my country of America in chains. Take a look at me now. One more look. Once again perhaps. I see Barack almost everyday, praying as a Muslim in the Oval Office and around the Beautiful House. Also, all the years we have knowing each other, he has been praying as a Christian as I am. I could not be more proud to say, if any Muslim or Christian leader in our wonderful nation, the United States of America, or around the world can run his or her country like he has been running for almost a decade, we will all be living with the Angels in heaven on Earth. But it wasn't easy, look at his gray hair. What we inherited first day we walked in until tonight, it sure wasn't easy. Forget about the odds that were against us, excluding for Oprah. Godly souls always have been showing themselves among their own kind in a gathering dropping…

Mama Veronica, a Kenyan business woman whose ex-husband is a member of Parliament, lives in the deluxe version of a crumbling stone house at the end of the circular drive. Just beyond the compound?s entrance sits my temporary abode, the non-deluxe version that she rents to the Peace Corps. Smack in the center of one of the hills overlooking the lake, Mama Veronica?s property abuts the Peace Corp training facility, a vast, austere track of land populated with one story maze like buildings. Much like a rabbit?s warren, a string of offices burrow into a kitchen and dining hall that can feed 60 and serves as a gathering place between classes.…

This fine evening the telephone in the house rang again, this time it was that lovely officer from Camp Taylor. I believe that he is the one I met the other day while having a ride with my roadster. To busy today, we arranged an encounter for tomorrow. The lovely Jordan Baker was also taking fresh air, it is not good to stay home all day, busy looking after personal issues. I am like an idol to her, Jordan that is, that sweet girl. Sad that I won’t be able to accompany her to meet those pleasant young officers when she grows a little older, but by that time I will already have my own classy companion. We will buy a gigantic front-line house, with huge windows were air always come in, and there is no need, therefore, to walk outside the house- it is sometime too hot out there.…

“What can I do for you?” he asked. I selected a text option for quests, “The corrupt captain of the guard has been charging everyone too much for taxes. Think you can steal the records and whatever he’s taken?” I accepted, of course. People like that in real life angered me too. Bullies who thought they owned the school and everyone in it. I went to the guard tower and entered it. His quarters were at the top floor. The guards took a look at me, but said nothing. After a while, they sat back down and began to talk amongst each…

So recently I have been thinking a lot of my escape. I am worried that somewhere along the way, I will be caught, and sent back to my Master. I do not want this. Going back would mean a severe beating, and my back would be even more marked up than it already is. No, I need to have this planned out carefully before I leave. I will travel only at night, and hide during the day. I must make no mistakes. My future is at stake. I can’t take being cramped in this cold crowded hut with ten… no, nine, now Mikey has been hung out the back. They will celebrate and burn his body later. He got hung for swearing in front of one of the kids. The ironic thing is the kid launched three darts at him, two hitting and pushing through his weak skin and sticking in him, the other around the crotch whilst shouting “BULLSEYE”. I’d avoid going in to detail. Our rights are constantly discriminated. When it rains the shelter is useless, so it is impossible to sleep which makes the days more difficult being so sleep deprived. We had to build it ourselves with little materials to use. Our roof is poorly thatched, our beds made of straw and old rags. Cooking over a water-logged wet stove with pots and pans we made ourselves simply just does not work. We are given one ragged pair of shoes, and three pairs of underwear each year. You are lucky if your clothing actually…

“Your mom and I have been thinking, and, uh. We have decided that we want you to go on a little adeventure, okay?” He was talking to me as if I was a little child, as if I did not understand the meaning of his words. “We have the money and we are going to pay a very decent man. He is willing to help us. The plan is to smuggle you all the way to Europe, and then you are going to stay in one of those safe countries”. He smiled in a way that was trying to convince me. I cried out. “What about you? Am I just supposed to leave you here, leave my home and all of my friends? I cannot do that, I don’t want…

Together, they walked up a short flight of stairs and waited awhile as the man tapped lightly, several times, on the heavy iron prison door. The night-duty attendant opened the door a crack, peered out and then opened the door a little wider for them to enter. He quietly and casually led the way to a small office, looked at his colleague and asked: “What do we…
