I am contacting you to inform you of some issues that have I have been concerned with when it comes to Kami and her performance on the JV cheer team. First and foremost, I just want to let you know that it has been a pleasure working with Kami on our team. Kami brings a very energetic and infectious vibe to our team. She has grown tremendously as an individual and as an athlete. However, lately, it is that same energetic and infectious behavior that has become a distraction for the team, especially during our practices. Today, Kami and her team had to run three laps because she was laughing and talking during stunts. As you know as a longtime cheer parent, stunting is a time that has to be taken seriously, otherwise there is the potential for…

Recently, I have been diagnosed with a non-calcified mass in my lower left lung. After several CT scans and biopsy, the results was unknown. Monday, I had to undergo surgery to remove a portion of my lung that contained the mass. Luckily, the mass was benign and sent off for more testing. It has been a rocky road to recovery; however, I would like to send thanks to all my friends, family, and co-workers that have supported me through this tough challenge in my life. I would like to send out a special thanks to my wife for always being there for me and keeping me strong in times of weakness. You're the best…

Good evening and welcome everyone. Board members, past presidents, headquarters staff, members, and guests: Thank you for being here this evening; and thank you for your involvement with PHCC. Your service and membership is deeply appreciated by all. I am especially honored to be joined by members of my family – both formal and extended – who have served as mentors, guides, sometimes chaperones… but constantly supportive throughout my life. I would like to take a moment to thank our current President of CA PHCC, Geno Caccia, for his leadership this past year, which he executed with skill and¬ composure despite several challenges.…

My ancestors came in my country of America in chains. Take a look at me now. One more look. Once again perhaps. I see Barack almost everyday, praying as a Muslim in the Oval Office and around the Beautiful House. Also, all the years we have knowing each other, he has been praying as a Christian as I am. I could not be more proud to say, if any Muslim or Christian leader in our wonderful nation, the United States of America, or around the world can run his or her country like he has been running for almost a decade, we will all be living with the Angels in heaven on Earth. But it wasn't easy, look at his gray hair. What we inherited first day we walked in until tonight, it sure wasn't easy. Forget about the odds that were against us, excluding for Oprah. Godly souls always have been showing themselves among their own kind in a gathering dropping…

I apologize for not being in class today. There are no excuses at all, but if you would like to know why for any reason, it is simply because I have become slightly overwhelmed with the amount of events, driving, and school work I have been doing these last few days between my job and my internship and school.…

When I first began oral communications, the speech I was most excited to give was the interview speech. This is because I knew exactly who I wanted to do and that it would be interesting to get to ask him about his life. In my last speech, I had some struggles and didn’t perform in a way that I strive for. This motivated me to practice my skills more and get better. Just this past week I decided I would give the sport of wrestling a shot. In the past, I have participated in basketball. Since I’m one of the shorter kids in my class I thought I should give up this sport and try something new. Into my first week of wrestling I picked up a quote that’s left a deep affect on me. Coach Allen told us a quote by Winston Churchill that says, “Failure isn’t fatal, and success isn’t final.” This quote says a lot about my personal experience and interview…

Yesterday was a rollercoaster of a day...well, this year has been a rollercoaster itself anyway! I want to write this for myself...to remind me that the glory belongs to God and to Him only. None of it would've been possible without Him. I am not that special but He saw me and believed in me. Yesterday, finally, I got my degree as a Doctor...A DOCTOR!!!!!! :)...what a huge, incredible word; It has been a wondrous road since I came to this country 14 years ago: So much has happen along the way! I remember I didn't speak English, I didn't know the culture, nobody in my family had ever graduated from college, we grew up so poor, hope was scarce in many areas and on top of that my family didn't even believed or taught me about love, at the end I decided to come following my heart and the man I thought it was the one. It is truth that heartbreak came but blessings came too: I got my baby girl and kept going day by day learning, studying, raising her, loving her and Him. I had to go through some discrimination, some hate, some isolation, even a miscarriage but guess what? with Him I survived because He sent many more blessings including a sweet man and a beautiful baby boy...speaking of underserved…

Its august 23, 2002, my husband forgot our anniversary. The whole day, no call or text from him. When he came home that night the way he acted, I knew he forgot. Maybe it slipped his mind? Even though it might have slipped his mind, it still hurts that he forgot. It was disappointing that he wouldn't remember our anniversary. It breaks my heart that he said absolutely nothing about today, maybe he had a long day at work. Maybe we've had so many anniversaries that this one didn't mean as much to him so he didn't care. All these questions in my head slowly brought me to tears , only God knew how much I wanted to cry , and eventually I did , that night as we lay down in bed together , so close , but yet so far apart . August 23, a day that meant so much to me, I now had a sense of resentment in my heart. Our Marriage has just taken a turn, for the worst.…
